this was my favorite restaurant for years, the quality of the food, the service and the ambiance has rapidly gone down hill. im mexican and i loved the food here before, but now it seems to me that they make these giant batches of different meats and throw them inside whatever tortilla you choose and charge you $20 for the dish. It’s so disappointing.

Terrible service. Almost died of thirst during our meal. Never came back to check on us, had to flag down to even get the check. And it was a slower Sunday afternoon. Fajitas were over priced for some chicken and loads of peppers and onions. I'll take my family somewhere else next time.

Sat at the bar order a drink but the server never came back with a menu. He walked around pass me for 20 minutes until i literally flagged him down. He said he forgot i was there but he continued to serve the couple next to me with no problems. After i spoke with another server he informed me that my server was the owner. Service was horrible and he was very rude and never apologized for his lack of professionalism. I ate here for years but i wont be returning after this.
Food was great, although it could of been warmer, the service was good and I always like the ambiance.

The food wasn't anything spectacular but it was pretty good. The sprite tasted a bit off. Service was a little slow but super friendly and I got there around 11:30 and they open at 11. My server, unfortunately never got his name, helped fulfill my request for onions and cilantro instead of cheese and lettuce on my taco. The ambiance was nice, good artwork. My total bill was about $25.

Unfortunately, I have to rate this restaurant based on my experience and not what it could be. We went during a slow period of time so that may have been the problem. On a Saturday Saturday at lunchtime. I would think that there would be more people there but maybe it's because of the service. Our server hardly spoken in English at all I repeated that my child wanted two soft tacos at least five times when the order came out, we still only ended up with one soft taco, but we did get an extra soft shell lol. The food was good though. I visit many Varda. This definitely wasn't the normal experience.

The food was bland, the service was okay, but the prices were way overpriced. We came in for lunch and had a lunch combo and soda for two people. Added chips and queso, totaling $50 for LUNCH for 2 people. I was blown away. We won't be back.
