If you are leaving the beach and get hungry but also want to take a dip in the pool but you also love happy hour and live music and beautiful views of the inter coastal with lots of palm trees and shade this is the SPOT!! Food was so yummy and the service was great!! The kids had a blast in the pool while we enjoyed relaxing with our beers !!

Never ever going back. My best friend, boyfriend, and I went here to eat about three days ago the water was disgusting and tasted "unclean". tell me why a few hours after i ate there i'm waking up at 3 in the morning vomiting and could not get any sleep. next "morning" about 10am i had to call out of work and no matter what i drank or ate it WOULD NOT stay down.. not water nor electrolytes. i am very disappointed to say the least. I had to try to sleep all day but unfortunately couldn't because once again i was being woken up to vomit. For the past three days i have had nausea, fevers, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and non stop vomiting. today is now my birthday and instead of enjoying it i am in bed sick, thanks so much blue point!

Literally the best restaurant ever with a pool in the middle so you can have a dip and let the kids play while you wait for your food.

Phenomenal. Great location on the intercoastal shore set back away from the road so it feels secluded. You can walk 2 mins or they have a golf cart that can transport folks. Live music was great. And they have a pool in the middle. Partly covered area and some tables out in the open. Food was amazing. So tasty. Server and manager were extremely helpful and kind as our young daughter has good allergies. Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Extremely helpful when discussing food allergies. They walked us thru menu items that met our requirements. The manager came out multiple times to ask follow up questions.Parking: Lots of free parking, it is about a 3 minute walk on pavement. Or you can wait for the golf cart to take you.Kid-friendliness: They have a pool in the middle of the place? Kids love it. I could see it being awesome to listen to live music in the pool at the bar and grill.

This place has changed over the years.. it is a lot like the Square Grouper used to be... you could sit out and over look the intracoastal ... soft music , didn't have the food but every one that was eating , was very happy with their food . The coconut trees , lights , chairs over looing the water... just beautiful. They still have golf carts that take you to and from the restaurant . The area around the swimming pool is less cluttered by tables and chairs being so close... I highly recommend going to this Bar/ restaurant for not only the true Floridian ambience. But takes me back when The Grouper was a fun little hangout that you could look out into the water... and watch the boats go by. Blue Point Bar and Grill is the place..

Beautiful views right on the water. Not easy to find but after walking and watching where other people were headed, we found it. You have to walk between the water and a building and go straight back. There’s a heated pool in the middle of all the tables that you can swim in. It is an outdoor restaurant. The day we went was super windy and a little chilly but we had a good time. The burger I had was amazing. Everyone said their food was really good. There was 6 of us and we all had different things. Would be beautiful on nice warm day. Prices weren’t bad either. Super close to Blowing Rocks. Only about a 10 minute drive.

A real old fashioned eating establishment. Plenty of natural ambience with large trees part of the structure. Very friendly staff and good quality food. Many selections but we always choose the Chicago style hot dogs! Their lobster bisque is wonderful. Always busy but the que moves along nicely.

We dined on a Saturday evening and the place was hopping. We chose to sit at a high top in the bar and did not have to wait to be seated. The water view was still good. Our waitress ( who was also tending bar) was fantastic - super attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the smoked fish dip, and shared the mahi Reuben and grouper sandwich. Both sandwiches were delish - grouper was VERY lightly blackened and I probably should have asked for heavier seasoning upfront. Tasty nonetheless. The live music (guitar) was great. We would definitely return.

I’m only going to review the food here. This is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant. The first time, I don’t remember what I ordered, but I remember it was inedible, and I sent it back. This time I started out with a martini. It’s the smallest martini I’ve ever seen in my life., It came in a plastic cup, and the price was as much as I would spend for "big boy" martini at Kyle G's.I came with a group of 6 people. The person who planned the outing wanted to see a specific band, so we came here. Since I knew about the food from last time, I figured I’d order safely, so I ordered a flatbread pizza. How could they ruin a flatbread pizza? What I got was worse than a frozen pizza from Publix. The cheese was all rubbery, and the crust was dried out. It was just awful. Everybody at the table had a complaint with their food. The oysters Rockefeller came out burned, the fried chicken was hard as a rock, and seemed like it was just dropped in the fryer and tasted like french fries. The band that we came to see canceled, and they had two different solo singers, that were just awful. The first one I really wanted to just cover my ears or put my head in the sand. What a waste of a great space right on the water! Why don’t these people invest in a little glassware and a decent chef and put out some quality food and drinks for their customers? The price for my flatbread pizza, one martini and a soft drink was $38. Absolutely ridiculous for this horrible food!
