Our third year, Food was adequate, Last year dessert was free. This year I would only rate food as OK For me, a disappointment, Staff tried to monitor customers' satisfaction. Do not recommend.

Ignore any reviews greater than two months ago. The restaurant is under new ownership. The menu has changed for the worse. Food and service are now way below average. With so many excellent restaurants into Tequesta they will need to really step it up to be profitable. Staff tried to make it up to us with multiple apologies and comping part of meal but we will not be going back.

My wife and I joined four other people for great food, fun, and entertaining evening last night. Not only did we all enjoy our meals from fried fish to steak and other delicious and satisfying meals, but to our great surprise, there was a fantastic entertainer who wowed us all with a wonderful assortment of songs from The Supremes, the Four Tops, and others. He dazzled us all with his range of both male and female voices. You had to be there! My wife and I don't dine out often, but we definitely will go back McCarthy Pun.

My “Shepard’s Pie was nothing but a Pile of potatoes heaped up on some ground beef.Another one in our party ordered “French Dip” which was sliced meat not served in a roll.

Food was typical Irish pub fare. I had a chicken pot pie. It was ok. It was deconstructed. The atmosphere was fine. It was late when we arrived so it was very calm.

A fun Irish pub with a great atmosphere! Last night when I went they had an amazing group of local musicians playing irish fiddle tunes who really added to the experience. Reminded me of Ireland where a lot of the pubs have local talent playing tunes. Food menu has typical Irish ☘️ selections that are good and the Guiness is cold! Enjoy and go when they have live local music if you can. The group last night was great and not too loud.
If you’re ever in Tequesta, FL stop by McCarthy’s Pub, they have great staff, food, and well Guinness, which is always cold from the tap.

Tried and true locals favorite. The food is consistently good, high quality, with good prices. I had the fish and chips which were nice large pieces of hand battered fish. Others in our party had bangers and mash, and shepherd's pie. And one of the old standby favorite is the chicken pot pie. Highly recommend this establishment for good food at good pricing!
