Our dine in experience ended as a 1.5 hour frustrated take out experience.

We were headed to another restaurant when we saw this one and thought pizza sounded good. Initially we were impressed, we were seated in a private room at the back and our server, Kate was friendly, accommodating and great with our two children. This would be a 5 star review, had it not been for the long wait, messed up order and when we asked for a manager we were told the owner/chef/manager Roland refused to come to our table.

We were there just over an hour and a half before our pizza was brought to the table. At that point we said we'd have to take it to go as we had to pick a friend up from the airport. The waitress apologized and told us one of their pizza ovens wasn't working. We had requested half of the pizza to not have olives but the whole pizza had olives and she said she couldn't comp the pizza. We said we just wouldn't take the pizza as only one person in our group liked olives but were told it couldn't be removed from our check. This is when I asked to speak to a manager and was told he refused to leave the kitchen. He could've smoothed this situation, but refused to be bothered and confront the customer. The owner should not be in a hospitality industry and I felt bad for our server who wanted to do something for us but didn't have the authority to do so. The sweetheart offered to pay for our pizza herself.

...don't delay to visit this charming family owned restaurant - owner's chef, Roland and wife Julia, who attends the front of the house will not disappoint, from the awesome cuisine to the outstanding personal attention to detailed service and the quaint, cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for more delicious delights!

Absolutely deliciooooouuussss!!!!! Oh my the Zuppe Di Pesce was out of this world delicious. Everything down to the starter bread buns were just ????. Our take out order last night fed my whole family and everyone was blown away by how tasty it was. Those garlic slices in the gravy? The portions were generous, the tortufo was heavenly and the staff were all so kind even assisting my order to my car across the parking lot. Proud to be a new regular

We were at Volcanos with a group of 8 last week. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked into the door. The appetizers were amazing, especially the Rollatini. By suggestion I had the Veal Marsala, needless to say I will be back to have this dish again. Pounded perfect, no knife needed and the sauce was out of this world. While listening to a very talented woman singing, we enjoyed a few bottles of Caymus and planned our next trip back. Looking forward to eating there again soon! (p.s. make reservations)

I had diner for the first time and it was amazing. I had the veal marsala and it was so tender and just enough sauce on it. Between the food, atmosphere and entertainment I can't wait to go back.

This restaurant has been a staple in Tequesta for decades. Unknowing of the sudden ownership change that recently happened I placed a pickup pizza order. The house special pizza was always a favorite for a great price, but I was informed it was taken off the specialty pizzas list. So now you have to pay for individual toppings. This was nearly a $40 pizza. No pizza is worth $40 on this planet. It wasn’t round it was oblong and most of the ingredients were in the middle of the pizza not spread out evenly. For a $40 Pizza this thing should’ve been picture perfect. Did it taste good, yes, was it evenly browned yes, but I would never order it again. The menu has not been updated online yet and that’s where they got me. The second Pizza was the Italian stallion and it was good. The items were spread out a lot more even. I live in Hobe Sound, I used to go to Vulcanos religiously when I lived into Tequesta. For their pizza. I don’t think that’s gonna happen anymore after a $40 pizza.
