excellent place for a quiet weekend get away, the staff is very friendly and the park itself is fabulous

The park is in serious need of upgrades. the rapids area which is the highlight of the entire park is crowded and haphazardly put together. they need to totally redo that whole area so that it's easy and accessible for people to view the rapids. they need actual paver paths, and it terraced platform for easier viewing in large crowds are present. also clear out some of the low hanging branches that block the view of the rapids. much of the rest of the park is stuck in the '80s.

Beautiful park for hiking and pictures. Nice playgrounds too. The pool, concessions, and cafe are closed until further notice. We paid 6 dollars to get in for the 3 of us. You can kayak/canoe if you want as well as primitive camping. There were a few people fishing as well. Also has grills and pavilions for birthday parties and tons of water fountains for people and pets alike.

The state park is nice. It has an excellent walking trail along the river. However the pool and concession stand has been closed since the start of covid and now they claim they're remodeling for the next year. It seems to be very poorly managed for the amenities.

I took my Kayak and everyone from the Park Rangers to other visitors were so nice...had a great time. Only thing I wish is a more open/smooth Kayak launch area for us getting older paddlers (lol). But still 5 ?

The cafe and pool are closed. The pool is undergoing major repairs and will reopen in 2023.

It only costs $6 per vehicle. You can camp here, and bring rv's and campers. But, I'm not sure how much that costs. Has good trails, a rope bridge, a waterfall, you can fish, there are gazebos and other covered areas to sit and relax or eat, and plenty of play areas for children. If you like the outdoors, you will love this park. Enjoy
