Had Piccadillo today . The ground beef was so crunchy and full of bone meal I had to toss it away. Why is it a Restaurant wants to be so cheap and get the cheapest grade of ground beef that is inedible?Won’t go there again. Also noticed they serve Cuban Sandwiches that are made only with, Pork, Ham and Swiss cheese. No salami?Needless to say my wife had 1/4 chicken and it was so dry it went to the trash also.Bad experience and won’t go there again.?

What a great place to eat! Authentic food just like my mother used to cook, it was so delicious. Everyone there was so friendly and willing to sit and chat with us, even let us try some of the items we didn't know what they were, (also delicious by the way!) I wish I lived closer as I definitely would be a regular customer!!

Stopped by here for lunch for no other reason that the great reviews. It was my sister-in-law, my mother and myself. My sister-in-law ordered the Cubano, my mother the P.R. Sandwich and I had the beef bomb and a soda I'd never heard of before. My sister-in-law said the sandwich was fine. That is, she didn't claim it was any better or worse than other Cuban sammiches she's had in the past.My mother didn't finish a quarter of her P.R. citing she didn't care for the spices used.My sandwich wasn't bad, but it was less the Philly cheese steak style I was expecting and more a Manwich with taco seasonings. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't great. And for the price I can't complain. The largest drawback to eating there wasn't the food though, it was the lackadaisical adherence to mask requirements. Although the door clearly had a sign saying masks were required, no one was wearing masks but our party. One gentleman had a mask on, but it wasn't covering his mouth or nose and an entire party of construction workers wore none at all. Others came into the restaurant without masks as well. With the restaurant being close quarters their cavalier attitude towards Covid-19 ensures no one from our party will return anytime soon. That bring said, the owners were incredibly nice and even offered my mother a replacement sandwich. When she declined he offered her gumbo which she begrudgingly took. To be fair, my mother doesn't have the most adventurous pallette.I'd like to give the place a try again next time I'm in town and Covid has passed, but probably won't be making the short trek over until then.
