“Great customer service, the breakfast platter of Calentao Completo comes with rice & beans, mixed together, scrambled eggs on the side & a good size portion of a boneless pork chop , areapa & cheese and coffee .That meal is enough to keep you full all day.The icing on the cake was the bakery where you can choose from pan de bono, a cheese bread delight, or many of their tasty danishes, and sweet treats. My favorite place to eat when I am in town. A hidden gem for sure.“

“The food and service here are amazing. The food feels like eating at grandma's house. I have yet to try a dish here I don't like and have been coming here for years. The atmosphere could use an update and the plaza it is at is not the prettiest or easiest to park in but the actual food and service are 100% worth it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Whether you are Latin or not this place has great food and a huge selection to choose from.“

“soy cubana y les recomiendo la casita de frutas, hacen una comida excelente , recibí un pedido de lechón, congris y yuca espectacular, y las mejores ensaladas de frutas de toda Tampa , les recomiendo que los contraten para eventos pues estan muy bien preparados tanto em comida como bartender y meseros, en la casita puedes encontrarar todo en un solo y excelente precio, profesionales y Deliciosa sazon. 😋 me encanta 💖“

“Great service, very friendly and attentive staff. This restaurant has great, happy, lively Latin vibes. This is NOT a boring place especially on weekends, there is a "club" attached to it where you can do club things, with the loudness of a club, so be ready for that. Colombian restaurants tend to try to be everything to everyone, in a good way. Colombian and other Latinos understand that, so we are OK bringing newborns, 4 year olds and grandma to dinner at a place that is bumping salsa music, has lights, and a bar that wraps around 2/3 of the place. Salsa, chicharron, football, arepas and aguardiente! We love it here.“

“I ordered the 3 meat and my sister ordered beef fajitas. The bell peppers in the fajitas were fresh and the meat was out of this world. My 3 meat (chicken,pork and steak) was to die for. Everything was cooked perfectly and they even had horchata! The price and service was outstanding. They even had the right music going that made you want to dance. Definitely will be coming back.“
