The first time I visited, I was very surprised by the portion size. The oxtails were delicious as well as the cabbage. The rice and peas along with the plantains were dry. Maybe because we came at almost closing time? 🤔 Anywho, I did ask for extra gravy to the rice and that helped the rice a lot. Fast forward, I re visited the restaurant in hopes that if I had come earlier in the day, the rice and peas were still dry. The plantains were a little better and as tough as before....
I can not even begin to explain how good the food is. My favorite go-to is butter beans, rice & peas, cabbage, and fried plantains. Every single bite is better than the last and I just want to thank for you for the most incredible ital food!
Came in 45 mins before they closed and the food was still delicious. Rice and peas had tons of flavor especially with the oxtail gravy on it. Jerk chicken was cooked perfect. Absolutely no complaints.
