Had the best time and best drinks made by Justin. His service was awesome and definitely will be coming back because of him.

Overall decent experience. We are Florida locals and wanted somewhere to stay on the beach for our anniversary. Their website does mention construction going on and this didn’t bother us. The rooms could use some updating but I guess they are working in Th at. Publix is 5 min away, which we loved. This would have been an excellent stay had it not been for this one lady who kept accusing guests of smoking. She would be yelling at guest from their balconies asking them if they were smoking. She did this on more than one occasion. Quite annoying and it just ruined the experience for us. I understand they have a no smoking policy but there has be another way to address this. She even mentioned that she didn't have authority to make those calls but yet she felt it was necessary to call people out. I think she is a bartender and if that's true maybe she should just keep doing that.

I do not usually write reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to have the same experience as we did. We booked this inn back in January. Months later, we get 2 emails about our rooms being moved because of renovation. So we couldn’t get the room we originally chose. When I called asking if we can be compensated for this-they said no. At this point, we couldn’t change rooms because the wedding party booked this inn and everyone was staying there. We arrived around noon, so we knew we were early. We let them know we will be at the pool and to call us when it’s ready. We checked in on our room 1 more time around 2 and it was still not ready. By 3pm, which is the check in time, the room was still not ready. When asked why that is, she said “Check in STARTS at 3pm.” You’d think if you let them know you’re already there, they’d try to get you in by 3 for sure! Nope. By this point my husband had it and told her to please call whoever she needs to call to get our room ready. So we finally get in and the room was okay. We got one of the renovated rooms, but the fridge stank like chlorine, I had to rewash the dishes before using them, the ottoman dirty, and we had a random blue beach towel hidden in the couch cushion. I also don’t think they wash their floors because my feet were black! So I just wore my slippers for the rest of our trip. As sad as it is…the view is the only good thing going for this inn. We only heard the construction Monday and Tuesday because we came on Saturday, but I can’t say it would be enjoyable if I wanted to go take a nap in the middle or the day. We were out and about most of the days. The front desk employees were not professional at all-looks and manners. At one point when I got there, the lady was on her cell phone talking and asked if she can get back to me in 20 minutes. Seriously? When I travel, I want my room to be clean enough that I don’t have to wonder what could have happened there. I was on pins and needles here. I say spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere else.

I reserved 203 and when I arrived they handed me the key cards I noticed it wasn't condo 203 that I had reserved. They neglected to tell me this at the front desk..I went back to the desk and was told the owners came and are there for the week. We were now in 312. And the pictures of 203 looked much nicer than 312. No extras for the inconvenience. View was great.

We started staying at the island inn a few years ago and come back sometimes twice a year to visit . We love the convenience of the Island Girl Tiki Bar at the pool . The owners Vikki and Scott and other bartenders Scott and Brian make us feel so welcome ! We call the island girl tiki bar our happy place ! The drinks are amazing and have such a tropical feel ! We usually start off with their famous Bloody Mary’s and move on next to their famous rum runners ! We always enjoy our time there and have met many new friends just sitting at the bar or by the pool . If you are ever in the Treasure Island area or walking on the beach here make sure to stop by and grab a tropical drink , trust me you will love it and they have such a variety !!!! Also very kid friendly ! They can make yummy fruity no alcohol drinks and have a variety of ice cream and popsicles !

I don't recommend staying here. The photos of the room we booked online were deceiving of the quality of the actual room (room 320). Spend the extra and stay at a real hotel instead, where they are going to care about you (and there are other hotels with just as nice views). Front desk people were very nice, but the customer service overall was extremely poor. In the room we stayed in the floor in kitchen is messed up, water from whatever seeped up for 2 days before finally stopping (there is some sort of hole under the cracked floor in the kitchen which in room photos is hidden by a rug), rugs look extremely dirty, bathroom sink stopper is broken, bedroom nightstand top isn't attached at all- it slid right off, and the door broke the night before our wedding. Unfinished refurbishing in the bathroom. Some weird cover on the kitchen ceiling covering some sort of hole that was drooping from the ceiling above fridge. No manager or actual maintenance during the weekend. We had to wait 30-45 minutes for our door to be fixed (come to find out the entire door frame needs to be replaced). Spent a lot of time being treated poorly while trying to have these issues taken care of during the week of our wedding. Manager admitted to knowing some of the floor issues, accused us of embellishing our story, wanted us to "perform" walking across the floor for him because we felt we had to intentionally dodge the messed up spots on the floor, and threatened a 0% discount instead of 25% when we were still clearly unhappy with the way we were being treated (meanwhile he originally never offered anything at all, nothing to assuage our frustrations with the room, we had to ask for it). We were still unhappy because of the treatment we had been receiving the entire time we stayed. It was no longer about just the floor, but the clear lack of care about us as customers staying in the room, and the fact that we were given the run around over everything. Including when they let us look at another room which the front desk person told us she had blocked it before giving us a key to go look, and then refused to let us move rooms. No one could do anything or guarantee anything for us without the manager. The worst stay I've had at Island Inn, and honestly, the worst stay I've had anywhere.

The views are fantastic and the check in staff are great. Unfortunately, there were two issues: room cleanliness and lost/stolen passports. The floors were not clean when we checked in so we asked the cleaning staff to come. When she arrived, we were told that she did clean the room, but that she would sweep again. The carpet was exceedingly dirty so we asked the cleaner to bring a vacuum. We left the room, taking our valuables, for her to clean. When we returned, the floors were not any cleaner. I called and requested a vacuum and mop to clean myself. Many of the cushions were not clean and we eventually rolled up the carpet and put it under the bed. We had left our passports in the room while it was being cleaned. On checking out, we could not find our passports. It is impossible to be certain what happened to our passports, but to our knowledge, this was the only time someone was in our room. The incident has been reported to the local police. We have had to delay our flights in order to get emergency identity documents. I called the general manager, Ryan, to explain the situation and ask for a complimentary night while we wait. Ryan refused to accept responsibility on the part of the resort and would not offer a complimentary night stay.

The room was immaculately clean (room with double beds), spacious and very affordable with a balcony view of the beach. Staff went above and beyond to help me use a beach wheelchair rental for my Mom who has trouble walking. They were helpful, friendly and compassionate. Both my Mom and I hope to visit again!

I usually do not post negative reviews. I have been disappointed with the dirt in unit 606. It was so nasty, I chose not to take a bath. The bathroom door squeaked loudly. I got a lot of bug bites, that I am worried were bedbugs. On the positive side, the people at the front desk were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. great ocean view on the balcony. Please fix the toilet. And for heaven sake, please clean the bathroom.

I stayed in a VERBO, room 421. I mention the room number bc the sunset and moon rise happened right in front of my balcony. The unit was clean and well appointed with amenities. Many morning walkers on the beach, plenty of shells wash up each day. My only feedback is that I am short and the only tables and chairs were bar height. It was difficult for me as there wasn’t any other place to sit for meals. No problem if u are gifted with height.

Probably the worst drink of my life. I took 2 sips and threw it in the trash. For the modest price of 8.50 plus tip. They don't even have the prices on the menu. That pretty much says it all. Serves me right for being too lazy to walk to the liquor store less than a block away from my hotel.

The best beach-front hotel in Treasure Island! My wife and I LOVE this place! We’ve stayed at a couple other nearby places and they don’t compare to this place. It’s the closest hotel on the water, literally a 2 minute walk from your room to the water. The balcony is great. Perfect Gulf views from every room there. Nice Tiki Bar with decently priced drinks and a nice place for a quick bite to eat. The pool is great and overlooks the Gulf, right next to the Tiki bar. A short walk on the beach to Caddy’s for some great food and live music. You also get FREE daily passes for a bike rental, dolphin cruise, and other cool things to do. Awesome price, friendly staff. Brand new gas grills on the beach for making burgers or steaks. Nice cook top in the room for cooking. Nice fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Close to Publix to stock up on food and drinks. You can’t go wrong with this place!
