RBar lost its way. Bad service... food is below average. Tried them once more...and...not to disapoint.. Bartender when ordering to go... was beyond rude... the tattooed woman deserves worse language. Horrible service. No gravy with the mashed potatoes... ribs were mush. Order was to go...and crispy well-done ribs were requested. The chicken was fine.. no gravy..we found out once we got home. This place went so downhill since the hurricanes... DO NO WASTE YOUR MONEY

Great little locals type bar. Great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed some great shrimp, grouper and french dip sandwiches. The staff was very attentive.

Sure dont understand these 4 stars. I been coming here a long time. And the past 2 yrs service has been terrible. When I order a drink. She told me I'm busy. Last year was the same way. I heard a couple customers come up the bar. And said they have been waiting over an hour for their food. And asked how much longer it will be. The reply was, we are down to one cook. It should be coming up . It's a damn shame. This use to be a great and fun place. Talk about walking in and not feeling welcome. The help seems angry and out of it. Terribly disappointed.

The food was very good; however, the service we experienced was extremely disappointing. Our bartender appeared to deliberately ignoring our group. While she was assisting other guests at the bar, the three of us were repeatedly overlooked.
When we eventually asked if we could place an order, she responded sharply, saying there was a reason she hadn’t taken our order because “the kitchen is slammed.” The restaurant did not appear particularly busy, and we have visited before during much busier times. Had this been communicated to us when we first arrived, we would have completely understood and waited patiently. Unfortunately, instead of being informed, we were simply ignored.
It took roughly 15 minutes to receive drinks and another 15 minutes before our order was taken. The food itself came out quickly, but after finishing our meal it took approximately 30 minutes to receive our check. When the bartender finally returned, she took one person’s card from our group and walked away without collecting the others, which further added to the confusion.
Overall, the service was very underwhelming and came across as unnecessarily rude and inattentive. We used to visit this establishment frequently and have always enjoyed it, which made this experience especially disappointing

I’ll try not to be too hard to the overall rating because much of their food we have had is very good. Tried the pizza based on bar tender’s recommendation. Was arguably the worse pizza we have ever had. Soggy cardboard with toppings that were not even what we ordered. Took some friends there that were visiting and let’s say I made a bad choice on that one. Again, most of their food has been good but don’t get the pizza.
Had a great lunch there yesterday. Burgers were awesome, perfectly done! Amanda was a great waitress and Mira was a terrific bartender. Definitely be back!

I was at the R bar on Saturday and had an excellent meal. I wasn't sure at first about the place, had just visited with some brother firefighters. Decided to come back for supper, three days later, glad I did. Nice gentleman playing his Horn entertaining a crowd at 5:00. Another excellent wait staff and meal. I'm from Wisconsin and would recommend this place highly to anyone looking for a place to enjoy a meal. A Great place for any retired person visiting the Treasure Island area around the Bilmar Resort, easy walking distance.

Stupid pizza stand to hold pizza on the table/ bar that gets in the way, spilled water aftter server placed the pizza above water glass causing it to fall over and pour all across bar. Server never asked nor replaced water.

A chill place with very nice food including popular local specials such as smoked fish spread, various grouper dishes etc. everything nicely cooked and served.
Horrible waitress if I could give it a 0 star i would. She was incredibly rude and dismissive claiming she was busy running only 2 tables. Coming from a fellow server that has been in the industry for years it was unacceptable. If you can’t handle 2+ tables find a new job please!
