This place has the creamiest chocolate vanilla swirl (twist) soft serve I’ve ever eaten!!! I’ve been coming here on vacation since I was a teenager. My family stayed at The Sands next door for years & years. Now I’m an adult & my husband’s family has a house in a Redington Beach a few miles away & I’m still eating here! We went 4 times on our recent vacation. Problem is, I’m so spoiled from Shake Shop that when we go home to Indiana my usual soft serve spots aren’t as good. Lol. I’m craving a large twist cone right now! 😃

Shake shop is a no frills minimalist type ice cream place. The sundaes are very minimal for example a peanut butter sundae is vanilla soft serve ice cream in a cup with peanut butter sauce and that is it…whip cream will cost you $.75 extra. That being said, the prices reflect the minimalist type sundaes. Everything is very good here and the employees are always eager to serve and are super friendly. It’s a great little spot just over the bridge from John’s Pass. Definitely recommend
