The resort has construction going on and there is a lot of concrete and other construction dust flying around to the point that the workers need a mask to be safe from breathing in toxic materials but the Cafe right below where all the dust an debris is falling is stitting with their sliding doors wide open to the dust cloud. This not only seemed unsafe just walking under the falling debris to get to the cafe entrance but then also see the toxic dust settling on everything in the restaurant. I wouldn't trust them to handle my food safely when they can't even comprehend what they are allowing to engulf their establishment. When I pointed it out, rather than say yeah, you may be right we should shut that door, they tried to get 2 managers to surround me and threaten me with trespassing. On top of that the noise level was over 95db. Which is very dangerous for constant exposure but they are still open having their guest experience that noise level for 8 hours a day which can cause hearing damage. They don't warn their guest about the toxic dust or the dangers to being exposed high to noise levels. Being exposed to 90dB is only safe for up to 2 hours! They go alllllll day with the drilling! Not only are they being a danger to their guest by not informing them of the realities of their construction but also the community. People that live around neighborhood are going crazy from the sound. It is literally driving us insane. Going on over 2 months now, for 8+ hours a day we just hear this loud ringing bell like noise and get covered by a toxic dust could. Don't waste you time, money or health with this place.

Great service but overly priced! For 3 people to eat a sandwich bag of chips and drink cost $75. Also the advertising was misleading because we thought there was ocean view instead you look into a courtyard

Small place, one table was being waited on when we sat down. We asked if we needed to be seated; it's seat yourself. We'd been waiting a few minutes to even have our drink order taken when another table sat down. It sounds like they were staying at the hotel this restaurant was in but wth no one in there, should that matter? Instead of even acknowledging us she went brought them drinks. Ok we can wait. Then she took their order... we still hadn't n been acknowledged. They're are six tables in the place. So we left. Wyh? We went to the Waffle House down the street (not our first choice but not a lot of places weren't open) but it's was great. Friendly fast service and the food was fresh and tasty.

Sunset Cafe is a lovely place to come and visit . It is inside of Sunset Vista Condos . The tiki bar normally opens at noon and will resume before spring break! I am a local realtor and I love the food and the atmosphere it also has an outside seating area for dining or having a beautiful wedding reception. Check with Cindi and book your reservations for any occasion and catering for events and rent the whole restaurant , balcony and downstairs for dancing after day hours for the evening.
