Stopped in 1-16-25 at 1130 PM, only thing open and serving food. Came solo on “off season”. Not from this area. Was hungry after couple drinks during vacation. Stopped in- haven’t been to waffle hut in 15 PLUS YEARS- the customer service was OUTSTANDING. I have to mention Tommy, Tau, Kurtis - the food brought memories of my younger years, the service and fun conversations helped me in my very last night here in Treasure Island area. Corporate Waffle hut - Please recognize the staff- for a single lady to have such a blast in such a diverse type restaurant in the middle of the night with lower pay scale staff but with an outstanding personality- this was a highlight of my trip on vacation

I always have such genuinely nice, family feel service. Every. Time. I don't know how they stay so calm and smooth when there is so much chaos on a busy day, but they do. There always a little too much grease/oil used, but for the price, the food is always good. Even the burgers. Just a basic, good, old fashioned cheeseburger is good. Service is always great.

Honestly… no other Waffle House could compare. Not even a Waffle House on the top of a mountain made of gold. This place feels like the equivalent of going to a Michelin star restaurant but the emphasis is on location, atmosphere and service. So happy this place lives strong after back to back hurricanes.

Was just there a 2nd time 12/20 as I was staying just next door, food is great, on top of the food being great they have a server “Marie”….who is attentive, personable, fun, and always smiling!! Great location and Marie makes visiting that much better😁 See you in a few months!
