We ordered pickup and arrived to wait an hour past pickup time for our food the place was full so we didn’t complain, the sushi was almost impossible to eat due to the rice being nearly raw and the “jalapeño ragoon egrolls” were not egrolls at all like the website states they’re just stuffed peppers. Highly disappointed.

First time in and it will definitely not be the last! Mad Lad hand roll was AMAZING! Everything was delicious. Tried the new crab Rangoon mozzarella apitizer.... FIRE!!!!

We had a party of three and were seen by a server within about 5 minutes. We were ready to order when the drinks arrived. After 1 hour an 12 minutes the server never returned to explain the delay or offer another drink. Nothing. We were getting ready to walk out so, We then asked the manager to check on our order. About 10 minutes later the food started coming out. Some of the rolls we ordered were doubled and some that we ordered were missing. We would have been fine sitting all night and having a few drinks if only someone had come to the table after 20 minutes or so and explained the delay. But nothing. Food was average and was not accurate to what the menu described. Missing sauces or roe on top that was listed on their menu. We have been there before but unfortunately will not be returning.

The food tasted old and literally bad, as if it had not been kept at the right temperature. In the four minutes I was in there, 3 people complained about their orders. Wrong order, tasted spoiled, etc. Will not be back.

Honestly the worst sushi I’ve had in a long time. They didn’t seem to use sushi rice for their rolls or cooked the rice so poorly that you couldn’t distinguish it. In the specialty rolls, some rice was overcooked/soggy while other parts of the rice were totally undercooked. For the price of their rolls they should do better than grocery store sushi but the quality of the fish and rice were too low to justify the prices. Also for tip, they don’t have options lower than 20% and that’s on the after tax amount. While waitress seemed friendly, she got one of our orders wrong, the service was slow, no water refill offered, and had to ask twice to get a beer. This place must not have been reviewed by people who have had decent sushi before but this is a try once and never return type of place.

The sushi is great. Service is just OK. Not very friendly and painfully slow. We made the mistake of coming here hungry and it took over 40 minutes to get our order of 3 rolls. We were one of only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant.
Also, it was frigid in the restaurant. All the employees have sweatshirts on and when we asked if they could turn off the fan, we were told they are connected to the lights so it wasn’t possible. The table next to us decided to take their order to go because of the temperature in the restaurant.
Updated to add: Ashly did an incredible job of connecting with me to explain the combination of circumstances that led to the experience we had at the restaurant that day. The customer experience from that interaction was excellent. She was not defensive and made me feel like a valued customer. For that, I updated my service rating from 2 stars to 4 and overall rating from 2 stars to 4. Of course the excellent service after the fact is impactful but it doesn’t erase the initial experience entirely.

We absolutely love both Dang Good Sushi’s restaurants! We always have the best experience with our service & the food. Especially with their fun drinks! The owners always go out of their way to make everything right & their staff is trained on this too. We visited the Main Street location today & our little one felt brave to order a sushi roll for the first time (she’s 5). Welp, she didn’t like it & without hesitation Kristy brought her out two chicken fingers before she could continue complaining she was hungry. Me? I can’t eat gluten dairy or rice & I love that I am always able to order & eat! 10/10 recommend.

I have Celiac disease and usually, when I go out for sushi, I already know that I’m probably gonna have some cross-contamination issues. On top of that, it’s usually quite uncomfortable to ask about allergy accommodations. However, here the staff was amazing and so accommodating to my mom and I, which means so much. And I have been here quite a few times and NEVER had issues! On top of that, the sushi is SO GOOD. THE FISH IS SO FRESH. And I love how they’re always adding new specials and flavors to their menu. You can tell that the head chef/owner is really passionate about this place. Cannot recommend enough!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, Vegan, and Vegetarian options!
