Wonderful food and drinks with a pleasant atmosphere. Love attending on Taco Tuesdays to mix and match their a la carte menu. Their plantains with BBQ and mango salsa is also a must have for this island girl. 😜

After going there 2 times prior tonight was a complete disappointment. Saturday night approx. 5:30 place is less than half full. Order chips and salsa appy and it never came. I order chicken fajitas with lettuce wraps instead of tortillas. My wife orders the Wok`d bowl Mongolian beef.
My dinner arrived after 10 minutes,no problem but we then sit and wait a minimum 5 minutes for my wife`s order to arrive. My wifes order seemed to be fine but mine was disgusting, brown wilted lettuce to be used as the wraps. Also find a shrimp that was cooked in with my chicken so I have no idea where that came from. Also for some reason they include shredded lettuce with a lettuce wrap dinner made no sense.
The mgr. did offer a comp dessert but after what the kitchen and staff tried to present to me I did not feel comfortable eating anything coming out of that kitch again.
I feel bad writing this review as the 2 prior visits were fine but it seems there has been a dramatic drop in quality with that kitchen and it would not be fair to not advise other people who may want to spend their money and eat from that kitchen.

My husband and I have been coming here for years, and it's one of our favorite hangouts. The food and service has always been excellent, and Allison is one of our favorite servers. Our only issue is the horrible background music that is sometimes so loud we've had to ask the manager to turn down! It's difficult to carry on a conversation and enjoy when you have to yell at one another!!!
Went for Taco Tuesday. Great selection. Had the filet taco and the fish taco. Excellent.

Amazing food and excellent and swift service. My only gripe is how expensive the tacos are for two, absolutely absurd for the price and what you get. Taco Tuesday is also underwhelming but ignoring how little tacos you get for the price the food is pretty good

Mediocre at best. We were seated at a very small table that was not big enough to hold our food and drinks so everything was on top of everything. Very small space and just uncomfortable overall.
We had the jerk chicken tacos and the steak tacos. Would not order the steak tacos again, just not very good. The jerk tacos were ok. I’d try those again. I also was quite fond of the street corn dip.
The drinks are very weak, so be prepared to get a double if you want a properly made drink.
The service was probably the worst part of the experience. We absolutely loved the host that seated us, and the manager stopped by to give us a free appetizer coupon for being first time customers which I thought was a very nice gesture. But the waitress but clearly overwhelmed and had too many tables to give proper attention to any. Not her fault, but this is something the restaurant management should work to improve on.
The wait times were long. And they also messed up the flight I ordered and mixed them up, so when I went to order an actual drink of one of the samples from the flight, I ordered the wrong one and I still got charged for it.
Overall, my first experience was a bust. But we live close by and I’d try again and see if they improve their service.
Zim Zari is seriously such a great spot! The food was amazing. You can tell they really care about the quality and presentation of the dishes. The portions were generous without being over the top, and there’s a nice variety on the menu so there’s something for everyone.
What really stood out though was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. They were attentive without hovering and made sure our table had everything we needed the whole time. It gave the place such a warm and inviting vibe.
Overall, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Great food, wonderful people, and just an all-around awesome experience. Highly recommend Zim Zari if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a tasty meal and feel taken care of!
