Very good food. Many options. prices are reasonable. A nice place to go with friends. Nice bar and lounge area.
Our server was very good - gave us time to catch up with friends. Then took our requests in a nice amount of time.
Our server Sally was excellent. A great blend of good service and friendliness. The food was excellent, as always. I had a filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly. My husband's salmon was also prepared exactly as he requested. It was our anniversary, so we treated ourselves to dessert. Sally suggested the bananas foster cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious.
Service was horrendous! Employees were not attentive despite restaurant being half-empty. Food is usually good. By the way, a French dip should not be served on a hamburger bun, but on a French roll. Also, the restaurant is always too cold!
My husband got the fried shrimp entree and I got the chicken pot. We both added a Caesar salad. The salads were delicious and we enjoyed our entrees. I tried the pot pie after seeing my husband order it so many times and enjoying it. Needed a spoon for it. My husband really loved the cocktail sauce for the shrimp. It had pineapple in it. Unfortunately we left our container with shrimp that we packed for later on the table.
Stonewood is always a lovely place to visit. We go there quite often. We also have parties in their private room. It's a great place to go.
Food was very good except for our favorite appetizer bruschetta. It tasted like it had been sitting out for a while before it was served & the tomatoes were tasteless. Our server wasn't very friendly and never came by to check on our meal. We usually have very good service and friendly servers. Stonewood Grill and Tavern is still one of our favorite restaurants in Bradenton. We will definitely return.
My dining partner and I shared the BLAST dish and Ahi Tuna bowl and they were heavenly. They are 2 of my favorite dishes. I will return soon.
Every visit to Stonewood results in total satisfaction. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive and the meals are always outstanding. Great value and delicious food!
Review of Stonewood Restaurant I had a fantastic dining experience at Stonewood Restaurant, and I can't say enough about the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Payton. From the moment we were seated, Payton was attentive, friendly, and professional, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. She offered great recommendations from the menu, checked in just the right amount, and ensured our drinks were always refilled without us having to ask. Her warm and welcoming demeanor truly elevated the entire experience. The food was delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere at Stonewood was cozy yet refined, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Payton's outstanding service was the cherry on top, making our visit memorable. I highly recommend Stonewood Restaurant, and if you're lucky enough to have Payton as your waitress, you're in for a treat! 5/5 stars!

Food was delicious, and our server Adam did an excellent job on our 5 top. Thank you, we will be back!
I had the chopped steak, pretzel rolls, and bread pudding. My husband had the crab dip, ahi tuna and key lime pie. The chopped steak we delicious and plentiful, The wine mushroom sauce was delicious and made the dish unique from other places. The pretzels were soft and tasty, but similar to other places. The bread pudding was huge, dense, and had a very good chocolate flavor. I could tell it was not just a pile of cocoa, but real chocolate. My husband loved the tuna, especially the sauce that came with it. The crab dip was good, very hot, and with home made potato chips. The home made chips elevated the dish. The key lime pie was good, but not nearly as good as the bread pudding. The highlights of the meal was the chopped steak and bread pudding.
Our waiter was very attentive and very professional. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the water tasted horrible. Perhaps it was unfiltered. We asked for bottled water instead. As a result, the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese had the same horrible taste. Our steaks were mediocre, we requested med well, my wife's filet was med-rare, my prime rib was tough and not flavorful. Will not be going back there again.
Our waitress, Payton was exceptional. The food options were both healthy and not too expensive.
Went for lunch with another couple. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent (thank you, Terrell). We would highly recommend!
