Stonewood Grill & Tavern

For 4 years we had been meeting friends at Stonewood for thanksgiving dinner. This year was a mistake! We ordered the turkey dinner. First , we never got silverware or water until we asked. When food arrived it came with the dessert at the same time (per instructions from the kitchen). The turkey dinner was a plate that included turkey , about 3” by 2” in size with a small scoop of dressing,a spoonful of mashed potato and a pile of string beans served almost raw plus a roll. It was as if it was a dinner of string beans with a side of turkey. The turkey was exactly 4 forkfuls and gone. There is something wrong with this place, both management and kitchen service. They need help here, this is not dining, I have had larger and better turkey dinners at a diner.

Each time I go with my friend/s the experience is great. Our favorite servers are Josh, Mariana and Adam. They always remember us and that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Had another fabulous dinner at Stonewood. Always love when Peyton is my server because I know that everything will be perfect.

Our “ go to” for a week night dinner. Great happy hour and the food is consistently delicious. Our server, Chanel, was a delight!

Love this place. Been a few times for food and a beverage, service is always top notch and the food is always fabulous.

Our server was very good - gave us time to catch up with friends. Then took our requests in a nice amount of time.

Im honestly surprised at the number of good reviews on this place. I really wanted to like it but it was very below average. The filet had zero flavor. No seasoning at all, especially salt. The salmon was mushy and the mashed potatoes truly tasted like they had been made with something I’d never tasted before. Service was very average and the food certainly isn’t the wait staffs fault but there was no real above and beyond attempts at service either. If food that is more plain with no real seasoning is your thing, you will likely enjoy it.

Great food and great service! The menu had a good variety of choices and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. We were visiting the area from out of state, were very happy to dine here, and would be very happy to do so again if we visit the area.

Everything was delicious and Peyton was great. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. I recommend the blue cheese chips and the clam chowder, so good!
