If you’re coming through Vernon, you’ve got to stop in at Big Daddy’s Barbeque! This Alabama man knows his way around a pit and it shows!! Brisket, ribs, potato salad and baked beans were just what my wife and I were looking for. I share a photo, but we ate it all!!

This is the best BBQ place ever i am from dothan AL and this will be where i eat BBQ at everytime i come throw here. The meat is tender and boyyyyyyyy does it taste good. Just give it a try. We had pork it was great and we had the brisket dinner boy thats the best brisket i ever had.

Cute little roadside location! I got the brisket dinner with coleslaw and baked beans. The meal came out to $24 which I thought was a lot for one meal, but there definitely was enough meat to last for at least 2 meals, if not 3 meals. The baked beans were different than anything that I've ever had but really delicious. The brisket with shredded and very good, and coleslaw had a very thick dressing to it. The potato salad was sold out when I arrived. Texas toast was nothing special. I stopped here while I was in town visiting friends and would most likely stop here again the next time I'm in town!

Great food, I used to think that Texas BBQ was the best but after today I changed my mind. Mr Mason is great his food didn’t disappoint, all natural food and none processed, great service and I highly recommend this place to stop and get some delicious BBQ. Lots of Great food for a fair price.

Phenomenal food and service! I don’t take it lightly saying this, but I believe this might just be the best barbecue I’ve ever had anywhere in the United States and I’ve eaten a lot of barbecue!!
Literally from the ribs, to the beef brisket to the smoked chicken was so tender, juicy, smoked just right, and full of flavor. Don’t get me started on the sides as the baked beans and ground meat is so savory and over the top the best I’ve ever had. Paired with the macaroni and cheese with that golden brown baked top on top of it is just an extra treat. So many other amazing items on the menu that I may have to go back in a few hours for dinner just to try some of the other things I didn’t get to try yet.
Oh, and by the way, the pricing is so reasonable for the portions and quality you’re given, that just tops it off, with kind and welcoming service to boot. Thank you so much for making my day!
