had brisket turkey and pork. All were flavored great with good bark and not dry. Even the turkey wasn’t dry. 5 stars alone for that feat.

The food is pretty good, had brisket nachos and brisket sandwich, the prices are way too high for the quality and amount of food you get. It’s so convenient and fun atmosphere, would have eaten there more times during our stay if prices were reasonable.

Local smoke is doing themselves at disservice by calling this a true barbecue place. The barbecue was awful, mostly fat. The brisket was even worse. It was all fat, but the service takes the cake as they couldn’t understand English. Serve me the wrong food overcharge me and then didn’t refund my money never go there again, one star and that’s too high

Gotta do something about the flies. Was waiting in line and saw tons of flies covering the chips and toppings for the nachos I was about to order. Was brave and still ordered the nachos. The chips were stale from sitting out so long. Place has potential but needs to improve cleanliness.

I am genuinely concerned for other peoples safety. I ate dinner at Local Smoke on July 22, 2024. I experienced the worst food poisoning I’ve had in my life. The symptoms started within hours of eating brisket from Local Smoke. I reported the establishment to the county health department after seeing others stating they were served rotten meat too. My husband had much more mild symptoms but he was sick as well.

I was truly hoping to leave a 5 star review. I have the 1/2 lb of pork. The meat was a mediocre in taste, very dry and just warm not hot. Thank God for the sauce, which was ok, because it was needed to moisten the meat. The beans were ok and the slaw not so good, but not bad. The bread was very dry and cold. The price is reasonable for the area.

Nothing personal, the brisket sandwich was super cold and the Mac n cheese I recommend you don’t get, tasted like velveta, and my friend got a salad it was horrible and it was $20 total was $40 for all of this… Either you’re in 100 percent or you’re out, don’t half a** it! Service was also not super friendly and had their walls up, please improve so you can be better for the next person!
