I travel a lot, and one of the things I love most about coming home is the hot peel and eat shrimp here! it's always the same and it's always good, but more important than that is the customer service. I've been coming here for about four years, and when I tell you Charity knows my drink backwards, OMG, down to how many limes I need on the side! Same for my husband, she knows her customers and treats them like family!

I give this rating before Mo the manager retired. Since then, the business has been sold. The new owners are going to ruin the atmosphere, menu and service. It's their right but you don't change a good thing. Weeki Wachee is not Tampa, leave those ideas in Tampa. Remember the sign reads: Bayport is a small fishing village that has a drinking problem. Changing the menu is a bad, bad mistake. You'll see!

excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. They have live music playing on the weekends. It’s right near the water. Close to some beautiful locations to watch the sunset. The staff was friendly and courteous. The staff was attentive. It’s wheelchair accessible. There’s some small shops right next to it. They have anything from seafood to burgers to wings. The portions of the food was pretty good. Once you leave there, take a cruise to Pine Island, and enjoy a small beach environment here in Hernando County.

Amanda, our server, made the night! We ordered broiled scallops and the Greek salad with shrimp and a cup of clam chowder. Salad and soup were good. The challenge with all the food was no seasoning. The salad and soup were very fresh though. There was a snafu in the kitchen (scallops were way over cooked, hard and rubbery and the food took about 25 minutes to come out.) Amanda took care of the problem especially well!
This restaurant isn't for us, but there were a lot of other guests who seemed very happy.

The quality of the food is terrible! The wings have no flavor whatsoever. The prime rib was tough and hard to chew. It too did not have a lot of flavor as it was a very thin cut. I wasn't excited about the sides either. A baked potato would have done well with a prime rib. I will say that the Bloody Mary's on Sunday are the best!

This is the only restaurant near Pine Island State Park beach, and with a full parking lot we assumed the food must be good. Unfortunately, after sitting at the bar for about 15 minutes, the bartender never acknowledged us. There were 2 other couples seated at the bar. The place itself is a run-down shack with wooden floors, though it does have an outdoor deck that appeared to be where all the staff’s attention was focused. We would have been willing to wait if we had been acknowledged at all. Sadly, we didn’t get the chance to order. The menu looked extensive, with a lot of seafood and Italian options.

Food was horrible. Crab cakes are full of filler. Very little crab in them. The vegetables were way overcooked - mushy. Crab stuffed fish was full of filler with very little crab.

Super fun. A little run down after the hurricane a couple years ago, but it’s a fun place to go and would recommend.
