Rustic Lodge feel, roomy rooms, no better view anywhere! This was our second stay and we'll be back! The grill is great! Food was excellent. Nice and quiet. We just live it!Rooms: Rooms are large with comfy beds.Food & drinks: Food and drinks at the grill were great and the view from the deck can't be beat!Noteworthy details: Staff at the lodge and grill go out of their way to make sure you have a great visit.

Beautiful place on the St. Johns River. Great atmosphere, but the food sucked. C'mon you are on the river don't do frozen fried shrimp. Make a few dishes great. The shrimp I got you couldn't find shrimp. It was breaded way to much. Get a decent menu of good food.

Server seemed to disappear at times. Charging over 2 dollars for each 6 ounce soda was a bit ridiculous. The food was good enough. Definitely different than it was in the past.

Allowed us to check in early, clean room, nice memory foam bed. The bar is nice and simple and fun! Decent food. Good crowd! AND... the most beautiful spot to watch a sunset! Will be returning.... TV issues and the owner immediately remedied it. Awesome!!!
We spent this past weekend at Anderson's Lodge not really knowing what to expect aside from their website. When you get there you have to go to the bar and check in which was easy.We stayed in the less expensive room since it had two beds (room # 1-9 if I'm not mistaken). The room was clean, had a lodge feel, and worked for what we needed. The beds were memory foam so the beds were comfy. Anderson's Lodge is right on the St. John's river so you have great views of the river and of the sunset.The lodge has a bar on-site that serves food and this was the best part. Our bartender Gabby was awesome and handled the busy crowd. Everything we ordered came out correct and was really tasty.We brought our boat and they had slips available. While we were there they were renovating some of the slips by replacing the wood on the dock which makes the slips look nicer. There is no boat ramp on property however the public boat ramp is only a couple blocks away so we didn't find that much of an issue.Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend Anderson's Lodge and the bar and grille.

I really like this place and the people. The rooms are actually decent for welaka, but are ready for a renewal on internal bathroom doors and such.The only thing I REALLY wished they had on site was a customer laundry machine. If they were worried about locals using it or something, they could only open it during certain hours.

FYI I just happened to be reading reviews and felt compelled to to apprise you that it is not illegal/against the law/blackmail ( as you responded to a bad review, in caps ) if a customer has utilized your service/business and informs you that if you are not willing to issue a refund/work out a satisfactory solution, that said dissatisfied customer will leave unfavorable reviews, they certainly can legally leave good or bad reviews wherever they so chose if they have paid for said services. Your uneducated response speaks volumes with regard to your poor business skills.Anything less than an apology ( not an overly defensive rant ) for a customer's bad experience with regard to your business, actually only further serves to prove their point. May be you should focus and ( better use the time you spend writing up negative rants ) on how you can improve.

Great Place, Great Staff, Great Food, Great Time!!Room was great, plenty of room to park my Bass Boat with lots of available power for charging batteries at night. Everything you need is on-site, Bar, Food, Ice, etc. Great folks working there, very friendly and responsive. I will definitely be returning for another fishing trip to this area in the future and will be staying at this location!!Food & drinks: Great menu at on site Bar/Restaurant
