Basilico's Original Hand-Tossed Pizza

I had already heard good comments about the place, these days I passed by there hungry and in a hurry and I decided to go in. I ate a slice of pizza and a mineral water. The truth is, the pizza was quite good, they treated me with kindness and you can see a good atmosphere, at any time I will return for a complete pizza and some other curiosity on the menu, probably something with eggplants.

First timers. Let’s say that this place is a Zoo. And that’s a Zoo as a compliment. I didn’t expect to see as much traffic coming in and out of this place. I’ve been going to Kobosco’s for ice cream with my wife, and I keep letting her know that one day I want to come here and try their pizza. Although Pizza was not first in my mind today, I asked the young lady at the counter, what are the go to entrees at this place. She first said Chicken Parmigiana, then she said Chicken Francaise. And she mentioned a few after that. Those were the two meals we ordered. My wife loved the Chicken francaise and the Chicken Parm was a HR for me too. Definitely the place will get a revisit and more. The owner Sal looks to be a personable person. He likes to greet others as they come into his establishment. Greeting like that go a long way. I did say to him, my review would probably make any difference in the traffic coming into this place. This place is really a hit. It looks like it will be a go to spot for us now. Not being in Jersey now, and not being able to find places like this that often. I feel that we hit a goldmine. Nice atmosphere and I see they also have outside dining tables. It’s not hard to believe these guys have been here for so long. Seems like yesterday when they opened and they have been awesome through the years! This is the place to go for pizza if you live in the Wellington area! Not only is the pizza like home, with fresh ingredients, crispy and chewy crust and cooked to perfection, but the folks who work here are just nothing but amazing! Happy people work here! Ordered my pizza crispy with extra sauce and it came out perfect and, without asking, the ladies at the front gave me extra sauce to take with me! These folks the best! If you live in the area, or if you haven’t been to Basilico’s, make sure you get over there and enjoy their food! Everything is excellent! Enjoy!!

Ordered two pizzas, a couple of cannolis and a few tiramisus and we were bit disappointed. The pizza was as advertised and as good as previous reviews raved about. We definitely will be back.

I’ve lived here in Wellington for 11 years and I can’t believe that I didn’t discover this place sooner. The pizza was amazing and the garlic knots were really good but most of all the service and the owner were fantastic. I love pizza and at times I can be very picky. The atmosphere, the smell of the place and the food was so good and so memorable that I will definitely be making this a weekly pizza spot.

The pizza itself is fresh, with a nicely cooked crust. However, there seems to be something missing from the overall flavor - whether it's in the sauce, the cheese, or the combination of the two
In addition to the pizza, I also tried the breadsticks. the breadsticks did not meet my expectations. Overall, my experiences at this pizza place have been mixed.

This pizza was phenomenal. Just got a simple cheese and a pepperoni pizza. We finished both in 10 minutes. Really great flavor, fresh and hot right when they said to come pick up.
