Dos Amigos Tacos

The food was so unauthentic. I got tacos de birria y carne asada. The shell is hard, like extremely hard, the meat is dry, it’s basically a fake no sabo Mexican place. It’s hilariously bad.

If you think you're going to get authentic mexican tacos, this place might be a letdown for you, as it was for us. With a name like Dos Amigos, I was expecting better as I've frequented many delicious authentic taco spots with a similar name in the West Coast (California), and I was hopeful that this place would deliver. The restaurant does not provide homemade salsa nor aguas frescas. Husband and I were not fans of the al pastor tacos, I didn't care for the carne asada one, the only semi-decent one was the bang bang shrimp taco, but for $7, I sure would hope so.
In the end, we gave the place a shot, but we'll stick to our usual taco spot for now.

Great spot to eat and enjoy delicious tacos and nachos. The food is extremely tasty and made fresh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

To the owner - I want to give a shout out to Tyler that works here. His work ethic is unmatched! From the moment we walked in, he was eager to help and take our order. He was the only one that was truly proactive and took initiative to clean or replace empty items. He changed out the paper towels in the bathroom, wipe down tables picked up trash and trays from our table. You could see that he was looking for things to do instead of just sitting around. I’m writing this because I want the manager or owner to know what an asset they have in this young man. No matter what he does in his future, I know he will be truly successful with work, ethics like that.

The best tacos I’ve ever had. The Buffalo chicken taco with the blue cheese on top is phenomenal.
It was our first time and Isaac explained the whole menu and everything went great! The churros are delicious too. Thank you Isaac, we will be back for sure!

The best thing about this place is how clean it is and the staff; great service especially from the young people working the front. That being said, I really wanted to love this place but my cauliflower taco had absolutely no flavor. If you are used to California or Texas Mexican food you’re gonna be disappointed in the nachos too as they are … kinda… unusual. They did have flavor but way too much 1,000 island dressing?? And then the pico is just sliced tomatoes?? Respectfully, it just felt really in unauthentic.

My wife and I stopped by to try the food and it was good and so are the portions. Derrick was also very friendly and polite. We had the shrimp, Philly cheesesteak, Bang Bang Chicken tacos with chicken nachos. The tacos were filled to the brim and a good size in our opinion. We will be back!

The grouper tacos are always a go-to for my husband and the monthly special Bang Bang shrimp tacos were awesome! I also really enjoyed the traditional Birria taco—the meat melted in your mouth. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean and beverage station was well stocked. Excellent place for tacos. Many vegetarian options available.

The food is delicious, the service is amazing and I really have no complaints here.

We had the street corn, some tacos, and their nachos I added some ground beef to the nachos and the taste was beyond.

10 10 recommend!!!

It’s better and priced better than the other taco place close by.

The experience was great with a large selection of tacos and other choices ranging from burritos, salads, quedadillas and kid's menu. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and the guy at the bar gave us a detailed explanation of the menu and offer us to taste all the margarita's flavors. I liked the watermelon one and my husband choose the lime one. Those were served with a ring of tajin, our choice, and I have to say that the alcohol level was gooood...LOL. The tacos were yummy and well portioned. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommended. All staff were very friendly.

The food lacks flavor and, given the high prices, it’s disappointing. The only positive aspect was the customer service. Otherwise, I’d rather have Don Cheops back.

The Philly Cheese Steak Quesadilla was fantastic! The flavors were incredible. We had the best service from a really friendly staff member. Highly recommend!

Great service. The lobster Taco is amazing. Loved the grouper and beef tenderloin taco, too. Love the indoor and outdoor seating.
