Had Small Curry chicken and rice with cabbage. It was good. But wish they would have put more sauce over the platter. Next time will ask for extra. But, good service and chicken was tender.

Island Basket is the lick!!! Jamaican restaurant on 441 and Southern. Open early. Full breakfast, and island groceries as well. The man working was so sweet with me. The food was freshly cooked, and fresh cake was being delivered while I was there. Thanks for being a Jamaican option here in West Palm Beach!

I used to go there for their Roti goat which is very tender but I had their Brown stewed chicken and it was disgusting the meat was hard and it was like sitting there for 3 days as the chicken was stained dark brown last time going to this place. Chicken only happens to do that when it's been sitting in nuts to for long periods of time meaning days and for $16 that was absolute trash

Di large curry goat mi get mash up mi taste buds sweet-sweet, mi haffi tell mi madda seh she fi switch tings up fi di 4th of July catering dis year. She did a hesitate, cause she been a use di same people dem fi over five year now.

Mi jus dial di number an boom—mi get di boss man himself, di Head Chef, bredrin Steve. From mi start reason wid him, mi feel di vibes. Mi pass di phone to mi madda, an after dat, di rest a history.

Up to now mi phone cyaah stop buzz—family an fren a blow mi up fi di name and number! Bredrin Steve come true like a real king. Him neva just serve food, him bless wi family.

Di flavor? Lawd Jesus—it pure yard man seasoning! Even di hardcore Jamaican dem a go back fi seconds. And di Americans? Dem fall in love wid di spice one time!

Big up yuhself, Chef Steve. Yuh food talk loud. From yah so forward, yuh spot lock inna wi family table.

What a great find. Food was outstanding and so full of flavor. We had the jerk chicken and the stew chicken.
More of a take out place, only two tables. Worth it!

Brown stew chicken was hard and tough. Oxtail was not tender. Even the plantain was dry. Shouldn’t serve old food. I rather you tell me you are out of food.
