The most iconic restaurant in Wellington! Fabulous for having drinks at the bar, a dinner after work or a special event or celebration!!!! Food is outstanding...service is spectacular and the music and ambiance is refreshing!!!!! The red curry chicken is a definite go to...the handmade spring rolls are to die for and for those who love sushi, it is the best around!!!!

My love & I have been coming here for a couple years. We love the food, drinks, atmosphere, & service. Morning is our preferred server, she’s so sweet & remembers you.

Yesterday we where again in this restaurant and because we had a great waiter service the waiters name was morning I change my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Morning , our waiter brightened up our whole evening by recommending dishes , by her nice smile and mood ..A truly amazing waiter .

We had an amazing evening with my girlfriend! The waiters were kind, but not too efficient, although there were few customers. The cocktails were delicious, the tuna was excellent!
It turned out that we got there on the day of the superball, it was a little noisy for us. But they kindly changed the table for us, a little further from the TV.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, amazing!!! I highly recommend coming here for any reason. The people working there was the best part! Very welcoming and truly felt like they were apart of our celebrations. You will not be disappointed. The food was fresh, and delicious Thank you Kon Kiki for a wonderful night.

Worst experience of my life. Made reservations a week in advance for the day before mother's day. We were 11 including my parents who are 82 years old. When we got there 10 minutes before our reservation and they took us to our table there were another party seating at our table and that's when the fun began. Someone gave our table away by mistake and they didn't know what to do. After the back and forth between the Manager and the hostess, the manager comes by and tells me give 15 minutes we are getting the VIP room ready. 20 minutes later I go up to her again and she told a few more minutes they are almost done. At this time is almost 40 minutes after our reservations. Waited a few more minutes hoping that someone would come and give me an explanation an apology and nothing. Finally walked to the bar and called the manager over and she apologize and offer a table for 6 people. The perfect night that I was hoping to give my parents and my wife ended up at home cooking cause we couldn't find any restaurants able to accommodate 11 people in such short notice. This is the first time that I right a negative review about any place cause I'm also a business owner, however there were no excuse to what they did and than lying about getting us a table ready. Definitely a night we were never forget.

I started going back mainly because Than and Poppy are such warm and friendly bartenders. It doesn't hurt that they're easy on the eyes. The friendly Thai staff is so nice and welcoming, it's such an authentic feel. I go for that more than the food which is also good but the bartenders are what really keeps me coming back. Once you get to know them, they are so nice and look after you.

I’ve been going to Kontiki for years now because the food is delicious, the vibes are fun, and the service is outstanding! Their best bar tender/server Tan is incredibly sweet, attentive and treats me like family! I highly recommend this place for a fun date night or good time celebrating with friends in Wellington!

Such great food in a cozy atmosphere. We always sit at the bar, because Kelly always makes us feel at home. She has a great personality & is always professional. Love this place
