The food here? Absolutely phenomenal—hands down some of the best we’ve had in the area. The problem? Actually getting your hands on it. Ordering from this place is a bit like winning the culinary lottery. Sometimes the phone just rings and rings, other times they’re randomly closed without warning. Most recently, we pulled up to find the neon “OPEN” sign cheerfully glowing, only to spot a small note underneath announcing they’d be closed for several months.

But here’s the kicker: if you do manage to catch them at just the right moment, it’s worth every bit of the effort. Trust me—if luck is on your side, you’re in for an unforgettable meal.

Mochi Thai is our favorite Thai restaurant. Great food and nice people.

Overall, wonderful experience! I went to try it for the first time with my parents today, as we wanted to try something new. My mom ordered chicken pad thai and I ordered shrimp pad thai; both are just as good. My dad ordered the Gyu-Don Rice Bowl, which was a good serving for him. Definitely check it out! :D

this place blew me away!! Incredibly delicious! Best Thai food I have ever have. Staff was so friendly, service was amazing. Beautifully decorated little place. Extremely clean. Their sauces and flavorings are truly something special. 10/10!!!!

This is my new go-to restaurant for Thai food. We didn’t try the sushi, but the fish looked wonderful. Service was excellent.

The decor is simple and somewhat strange. The walls are made of material that looks like decorative styrofoam.

I am more interested in the food and service, and the decor is not as important. 5 stars on those two!

A local favorite! My husband and I have been to Mochi Thai many times and no matter what we order everything is always delicious! We look forward to many more visits.

I am not compelled to leave reviews often... Mochi has compelled me! HIGHEST compliments to this parent+son team. Mom is an amazing cook, she made my green curry tonight—creamy, flavorful (I saw the kaffir lime leaves) broth, and generous portion of tender delicious eggplant. Mochi the best Thai food in the area, and even rivaling spots in New York, period. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I wish I had access to this cooking all the time. If you’re reading this, don’t think about it anymore—just go!

The food was delicious! We got the green curry, pad see ew and the salmon sushi special. Everything was top notch, fresh, nice size portions and the bathroom was v clean.

Wanted to try out a new Thai/Japanese restaurant and this place didn’t disappoint at all!!!
Everything I ordered came out as it was done so super fresh!!
No complaints. The host maybe owner was super nice and attentive.

I can’t believe it took us this long to go try out this restaurant. Best sushi and Pad Thai we’ve had in a while. We will be coming back for sure!

Avoid take out. 3x wrong orders, wrong items. $$$ which is ok if you get what you want. Items on menu were not what we got. Pork belly tough, sizzling steak was anything but... and not as described in menu.

This place has amazing food, but they need to do better on service, they barely pick up the phone on weekends or hang out the phone on you. 3 stars just for the poor service.
