I ordered a special and it took them 34 minutes to let me know they couldn't make it because they didn't have the chimichurri sauce. this was a Sunday night and there weren't many tables taken. It's not like people were ordering the same thing. They also brought out two orders of fajitas without tortillas and we had to wait a very long time to get them. they should bring completed entrees out together. Aside from that the food and service was good. But i think communication could improve.
The noise level inside was unbearable. Once the Mariaches started playing it got even worse. Once the fall and cooler weather arrives here in Florida we will return and sit in the covered outside. The amount of the portions served allowed us to take home enough for at least another dinner. One of the better Mexican restaurants that we have eaten. Loved the food.
Upon arrival, the mariachi band was so loud, we asked to sit outside. As soon as we were seated, they came outside for a birthday. They had portable amplifiers with them - on their own, they may have been tolerable, but it was headache inducing immediately. We ordered apps and drinks - they tasted good. We asked our server if the band was coming back out (to determine whether to stay or not for main meal, because she's not taken our order). She said it would be no problem for them to not come back. Then she did not come back to the table for another 10-15 minutes until the band came back outside. Little bit of food and drink was good, but unless you want to subjected to noise and not have any concerns addressed and slow service, would not recommend.
Restaurant has become a bit pricey. Food was good but becoming a bit expensive for the value
Great food and atmosphere. Service can be a little slow at times especially when they are busy.
The restaurant wasn't that busy although it was Easter. From the time we showed up til the time we left they had maybe 4-5 tables with more then enough servers. I have been to this location numerous times and the lack of attention was bad, my son got his meal 20 mins after everyone else, I ordered the special thinking it was going to be delicious and the meat has definitely been cooked either over night or they let it out and it dried up. I will return again because I've never had this issue coming here but I'm just in shock.
Great guacamole and super tacos. Don't order the Smokey margarita, it's not very smoky or good.
The best Mexican food around. Nick, the owner, makes the whole evening an event. So much fun!
Good was great but it was very loud. Mariachi band was cool but felt they played too long and too close to the table. Could not have a conversation and serve could not hear us
Had some of the most delicious mexican food at this spot. My wife and I were very happy with the service and the quality of the food. Will be back!
Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered a cassadia with wild mushroom and shrimp the shrimp on one half the mushrooms on the other half it should have been both on the same side Guacamole prepared table-side was excellent
Even though we dine here often, they don't care much, never recognize us. Even though we have a reservation, they might be closed, or seat us in a bad spot. The music is too loud. But the food is good and the service is quick. Wellington is a restaurant desert, with Mole being one of the few decent restaurants in Wellington.
Best nachos.

I've been going to Mole since moving to Wellington 3 years ago and it remains one of my go-to stops after a long day. The server team is very friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, it's reasonably priced, and the bar is a great place to socialize with friends. I've been living in New York for 38 years and Mole reminds me of some of my favorite downtown haunts.
Plus, there are lots of options for those of us on a plant-based diet and the servers are willing to accommodate when I ask to exclude cheese and sour cream. For anyone enjoying a spirit-free year, Mole has an alcohol-free beer. I really like this place and plan to return many times!
