food tasted great and looked just like the pics. we came at lunch and it was quiet. we will return again. I think because it's inside a gated community most think you have to live there to go to it. it's the slow season and that community is pretty empty now so it was perfect.

We only have positive things to say after our dinner last night. The place is beautiful in a fantastic setting. Service, really well trained staff. Food specials are outstanding, in fact we're going back next Friday to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Everything was great. Only issue was that there was not enough wait staff after 6:30 pm and the place was full. It was nice to go to a new place and love the food, view and friendliness.

This was our first time at Stallion. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. We went on a Sunday evening, so it was not crowded. We will return.

Our visit started off great. We were excited that this was a tucked back in a beautiful neighborhood. When we walked in we immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and the dinner music. We sat at the bar and the bartender was lovely. It started to go downhill when our food came out. I ordered the lobster special, it arrived without any accompaniments. No butter, lemon or tools to crack the shell. They served it with broccoli and corn but neither of those were seasoned, just cooked. I can make plane broccoli at home. It became increasingly difficult to find our bartender. We waited long periods of time between seeing her. My husband asked her for a box to take home our leftovers. The box never came and she accidentally threw away our food. we did get it back as it was just sitting at the bar in a dish tub. We each had two drinks and a meal. After tip, our meal was about $200.00. Not sure if we would give this place another chance or not.

Air conditioning was not working properly and it was very warm. French onion soup and escargot were on the menu but unavailable. The salads were warm, not chilled. We were told that salad came with the lobster special and we were given the choice of house or Caesar, but the check came with an up charge. The entrees were ok and the desserts were good. The venue and the view are pretty. Disappointing for the experience, definitely not upscale, except for the prices.

Stallion is a real gem. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food, lovely ambience, and great service. Don't miss the lobster special. It cannot be beat! We will return.

We spend over 400 dollars and the food was not onto par. The service was slow,m. Our server was decent but was really busy. He did everything from bring us drinks to bus the table, with no help. As a result I felt the food was delayed. Our main entrees also came out before our daughters food. Not a fan, and probably won't go back. We've been a few times before and it was excellent over 3 years ago. But, this time different, from black debris on the white table clothe as soon as we sat down to smudges on the glasses.

Our waiters forgot 3 things that we asked for. Had to get up to find him and remind him again. Ran out of lobsters for our 6:30pm reservation. Steak was overcooked.

It's very loud. The service is not commiserate with pricing, with teenagers as waiters. The food is average at best.

Everything was great, until a party left their noisy, impolite children and left them near our table. They moved themselves to the other side of the restaurant.

I highly recommend Stallion's 3-course Summer menu. (Not sure of the dates or other specific details - check website). You get to pick one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert for $59 per person (exclusive of beverages, tax, and tip). We were amazed how many choices on the menu were included - it's most of the menu (there were stars next to the items that were not included).

Our mocktails and cocktails were delicious - we particularly enjoyed the BooBoo and the Smoky Old Fashioned. For appetizers we selected the crab cake and the cooked oysters - both were flavorful and generous in portion. We had the filet and the lobster for our entrees (see photos). The lobster was slightly overcooked, but still flavorful and we enjoyed our entrees. We had the tiramisu ice cream cake (totally amazing - highly recommend) and the brownie with chocolate ice cream for dessert. The brownie would have been even better served warm, but it was still delicious.

Our server was attentive and friendly. We were greeted warmly and the door and promptly seated for our reservation.

The atmosphere is nice overall with a pretty view from the windows, nice decor, etc.

For some reason there was a group of about 6 young children running back and forth between the patio, the private room, and the restaurant itself throughout our evening. I have kids myself and have no issue with kids in a restaurant. I also understand that they may be bored during a longer dinner (why I left my own at home), but would be lying if I said it didn't detract from the evening to have them running between the tables, playing tag in the dining room, and seemingly totally unsupervised. (The adults they would go up to were on the patio and in the private room, so not in the dining room itself.)

Regardless, I would still happily return again.

The food from the buffet was ice cold. We didn't even know it was a buffet until we got there. My wife asked for a piece of bread and was told “no”. There was nothing special on the buffet. The strawberry shortcake had no strawberries. For $95 per person, this was a significant disappointment.
