A smoothie place that doesn’t offer smaller size cups or other sizes in general is wild to me. The workers here are rude

Been running restaurants for 18 years, its a staple of any business to not only fix a mistake, but to apologize and even try to go above a simple fix to protect the brand, the sales, the return costumers. My wife ordered a hummus wrap (shes a huge fan of this), and vegetarian. She ordered shortly before closing, took her order and got home, only to find it was some other kind of chicken wrap, not even close to the correct order. Hey, mistakes happen, this was disappointing, but we made some other food and moved on, you were already closed. After several attempts to call the location the next day with no one answering, we tried to call again today. When my wife described the issue, to a female working around 5pm, the only response she received was “okay?”. My wife asked if there was anything we can do since we drove there, paid for food and got home only to not have dinner. The employee stated she would ask the manager, the managers response was “That was two days ago, nothing we can do.” First, no one even bothered to apologized and the employee was just completely disgruntled at any concept of someone having a complaint. Second, your telling me this company had NO ability, in any form, to reconcile this mistake? Simply shoo the customer away? Im confident Tropical Smoothie would not accept these circumstances and encourage other locations to do the same, this experience is the result of poor management and unfortunately, the staff has been led to believe this is acceptable, completely making sense why this employee felt perfectly fine with not caring. The standards this company hopes for, are being crushed by this location and needs a watchful eye put over it from the regional manager. Companys do not bode well when they shut down service, especially when it results in losing a regular customer, in every way, speaking from experience to the public, do not gamble your money here. There is nothing wrong with a mistake, it happens, but you will not receive service here. You’ve lost us forever

Honestly switched over from Jamba Juice to here. It’s our new spot! What made a huge difference is customer service, it’s that simple to make people want to come back. Plus she nailed my wrap!!! My smoothie was on point and they made sure to take my mango allergy serious with the use of a fresh new blender so I didn’t have cross contamination. Truly loved the people here and the food. I highly recommend this location especially!!!! Thanks!

Five stars all the way for the Tropical Smoothie Café in Wellington! The place is always spotless, and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast, and attentive. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how quickly they prepare orders without sacrificing quality. The wait time is always short, and they truly go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of—from custom requests to making sure you’re not left waiting too long. It’s clear they care about their customers. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, refreshing, and satisfying stop!

Just got some slightly flavored ice water. Worst smoothie I’ve ever had. I got the same smoothie from another location 3 days ago and it was much better. Thanks Tatiana

Went in this evening for two acai bowls. When I arrived, three team members were all making orders. No one acknowledged me for a while (no hello, no we'll be with you in a bit, etc ). When I was finally helped, she wasn't rude but didn't really say much. The wait for the food was fairly short. However, when I got home both bowls were missing either the peanut butter or the nutella. The team member who made my order (not who took it) was on the phone the whole time I was there and must've been distracted. With all the businesses in the area that make acai bowls, I'll most likely go elsewhere for a better experience.

We ordered 2 large of the same smoothie with a scoop of whey protein on each. The girl put so much ice that she actually made 3 smoothies out of the 2 and she threw the remaining away. I asked her not to throw it out because half the protein was at the bottom of the blender and that’s why I ordered the smoothie with the protein. She replied that she was not allowed to give the customer the remaining of the smoothie on the blender because of the store policy. I’m very concerned about my protein intake and if I pay for 20 grams of protein I will like to get it. The smoothie was very much water down and it had little flavor.

Quick, friendly service. Smoothie tasted good.

The staff is the worst... they just stare at you and wait for you to order. No motivation.

I’ve never experienced such trashy service!
I was not greeted when I entered but was treated as an inconvenience to the employees who were playing on their phones!
How disgusting! Management needs to straighten out these kids.
I ordered a smoothie today at 6:08PM and the employee didn’t even have the decency to say that the smoothie was ready!
NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS or at a Wellington location standard.

This tropical smoothie always mess up my order. I asked bananas instead of strawberries due to allergies, they still give me strawberries. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Food is great, that’s for the stars. we ordered 3 Açaí bowls and 2 smoothies. The Worker who took our order was not pleasant and very rude!

They were generous enough to give me a free smoothie for My birthday, so points for celebrating my birthday with me.
