Terrible Customer Service – From the Owner Down
We had a very frustrating experience with Bebo’s Cheesesteaks in Wesley Chapel and feel compelled to share it. Yesterday, we placed an order for three different people before our 30-minute work break. When we arrived (about 20–25 minutes later), we were told our food wasn’t there. We had to leave empty-handed and head back to work, wasting our break entirely.
Afterward, we called to express how upset we were, only to be told by the manager that we were supposedly 45 minutes late and that they had thrown our food away. When we asked to speak to the owner, a woman called us back claiming to be the owner and said if we called an hour before our break the next day, she would “take care of us.”
So we did exactly that. But when we called today, the story changed. Suddenly, we were only going to receive one free meal, and we had to pay for the other two. It became clear this wasn’t about making it right — they just didn’t want to take responsibility. At that point, we let her know we would rather not proceed with that arrangement and would leave a review instead. That’s when things got even worse.
She immediately blamed us again for being “45 minutes late,” refusing to take any accountability. We hung up to avoid arguing. Then, a man called our phone being completely rude and disrespectful, claiming he was the actual owner and continued to blame us. After hanging up again, he called back multiple times.
We didn’t ask for free food — we just wanted to be heard and treated with respect. The way the owner and manager handled the situation was unprofessional, combative, and honestly, shocking. For a small business, this is not how you treat paying customers, especially when they are simply trying to get lunch during a short break.
We’re seriously considering contacting small business bureaus or local organizations about this, because this kind of treatment is unacceptable and has left us genuinely upset.

I don’t even want to give this place stars. The food is good but the customer service makes you not want to even order from here. Me and my coworkers ordered food at the start of our 30 min lunch break. When we went to pick up the food 20 min after ordering, they told us they threw away our order because we took too long and it would be ready in 5 min. We couldn’t wait so we called and asked to speak to the owner. Her response was the employee made a mistake and to come back tomorrow, that she would take care of us. So we call back the next day to place the order and the SAME LADY is now saying we gonna have to pay for one of the items when the day before we were told we’d be taken care of. We aren’t looking for free food. We were just looking for understanding. What happened to the customer is always right?? We decided that we didn’t even want the food anymore because of the attitude we kept getting. Who we believe to be the husband of the owner gonna call us like we bothering him and give attitude to us. He was trying to make it seem like we were just complaining for the free food. We just wanted to them to acknowledge their system is flawed and it’s making customer waste time and money ordering ahead just to still have to wait upon arrival. If y'all are going to cook to order, there shouldn’t be an option to order ahead.
The only complaint I have was that the chicken wings we ordered with BBQ sauce on the side (not over them), the chicken wings didn't have any flavor by itself because was missing condiments. At least some salt and pepper or adobo before the wings are getting fried might taste better if you ate them without any sauce.

The cheesesteak egg rolls were really good. Both the egg rolls and the fries were hot and crispy. The steak could have used a little more seasoning. It was pricey (I paid $22 for three egg rolls, fries, and a drink).

The owner is always friendly. The staff are cool. The teriyaki chicken and cheesesteak rolls are my favorite.

always love coming here i didnt get the guys name but he was a taller guy with a beard sunday night right before closing time and they still look my order and were really kind and had really great attitudes the wings are bombbbb i put my mom onto them and now they are her favorite wings💗💗💗💗

DO NOT eat at this place. They had a big bowl of meat sitting on the counter already cooked and just slapped it on a roll put the cheese on top and put it in a toaster oven. I took 2 bites and tossed it in the trash

Absolutely delicious!
Bebo's Cheesesteaks hits the spot every time. The sandwiches are loaded with flavor, the bread is perfectly toasted, and the meat is always juicy and tender. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every order. The staff is friendly and fast, and the portions are generous. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or treating yourself to comfort food, Bebo’s never disappoints. Highly recommend the classic Philly with extra cheese!

Disappointed at the fact that our office really would’ve liked to order food from Bebo’s but with multiple attempts at trying to reach them, there was no answer so we opted out ordering somewhere else. When trying to cater for a lot of people it is difficult ordering online so I hope that this gives some insight of how important it is to be attentive when customers call your establishment. Perhaps in the future it will be different.
