We've eaten at Dempsey's many times... but year's ago. We were excited to return for a double anniversary celebration. We expected Dempseys and this isn't. Dempsey's Too has the atmosphere of a sports bar, not an elegant restaurant. We parked in the back as directed and were driven to the front on a golf cart. Seems construction is underway on a new Dempseys and other amenities. We were disappointed ... AT FIRST. Simply because we were looking for something more elegant for this special date night. Overall, the food was great. Crab stuffed grouper was delicious. Ribeye was cooked a bit over the medium-rare ordered, but was a nice portion and tasted fantastic. The salmon was excellent. We also had drinks and a very large pretzel and were gifted 2 large servings of delicious carrot cake, for each of our anniversaries. Service was top notch! We left very satisfied and will return. I do recommend going to Dempsey's Too for a nice, casual meal and look forward to the new dining room opening.
Extremely disappointed . After valet parking, we walked through construction to arrive at the restaurant. It looked like it was closed. We opened the door and there was only one other couple dining inside and the ambiance was old and dingy. We were seated with little to no welcoming. We looked at the menu to see the prices were just shy of $50 for a steak, looked around again and decided to leave. Again very disappointed as we thought dining at Saddlebrooke would be a nice evening out.
dempseys too is under re-construction along with the resort. since they have not re-vised their website, we under the impression they were open. completer waste of time and a disappointment for out 25th anniv.
I reserved a table here to use an Open Table reward. Not being from the area, I didn't realize that this property is quite old and in need of renovation. It's good to see some investment is underway, but the restaurant felt about 25-30 years out of date. On the bright side, the service was attentive and the food was pretty good. We enjoyed cocktails and entrees without any complaint. Then it was time to use the Open Table Reward, and they weren't familiar with it and didn't apply it. So much for a good idea to use those open table points. Overall, I'll return but only after them complete renovations.
I took My Wife there for Mother’s Day brunch, It was ridiculous, quite embarrassing. Thank God we didn’t bring anybody else. We’re all in a big banquet room at little tables for $70 a person. The brunch was absolutely terrible. There was hardly any food and the quality was terrible.
We’ve gone to Mother’s Day brunch before I’ve even had a private party at Saddlebrook for my company. It’s definitely gone downhill. I read some of the other reviews about the resort. They basically should just close it down at this point.
Had Mother’s Day brunch there, and it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! For a buffet, it didn’t have a big selection. $70 a person was OVER priced especially for quality and selection
I understand they are going through a remodel. But they could have dressed up the ballroom a little to make it more appealing. Service was horrible! Had to flag down other servers for them to find our server. They bad part is they automatically added the tip to the check which I did not think was fair and the server surely did not deserve a $45 tip for bringing us three sodas and three glasses of water!
Not great, won’t return.
Great food and great service! The Reuben was excellent and the Smokey Paloma was one of the best I've had. I am sure once the revocations are complete the new space will be top notch too.
Delicious menu, leisurey service.

Bait and switch. They advertise this place as an upscale din8g experience with music. It actually is a tavern bar with bar food, lots of kids and parents in bathing suits, and poor service. Our food was bad, the drinks slow, and lots of kids creating havoc.
My grandson took me to Dempsey Too for Christmas dinner. I had the prime rib. It was to perfection. Best food I have eaten in Wesley Chapel in the last three years. My grandson had the filet it was cooked just the way he liked his filet. The carrot cake was the best. Service was wonderful. Looking forward to my next looking Visit.
The Restaurant Buffet was Great looking forward to Holiday. Thank you
Thanksgiving Dinner at 6:00pm, great disappointment, $49.00 per person, $203 for not "Hot" but luke warm plate. Upon arrival, sign "Seat Yourself" and not your traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I remember enjoying my family prior to 2019. This time, dinner was served in the small bar area, and they probably had maybe 40 people/customers seated for Thanksgiving. The table we selected were found ourselves inconvenience unable to get up to get up and leave and return to the table without a strategy on how to do so, since my table was blocked by 3 other tables, which I didn't like, definitely an inconvenience. There is nothing special about this Thanksgiving meal, traditional Turkey, dressing, mash potatoes amd gravy, small amount of vegetable, I think green beans, or could have been asparagus, I couldn't identify. If I had known I would have ordered a dinner meal from somewhere else for $18.00 a plate, including small salad and dessert and I could have saved myself spending $203 or ordered carry-out plate the day prior and ate at home. I think the Thanksgiving Dinner Buffrt should have been an extension of the earlier Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet. Unfortunately, reservations ended at 2:30 pm, and then Thanksgiving dinner started at 5:00p.m.. I think the Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet should have been simply extended through 7:00p.m. I will definitely have to find a different venue for my holiday meal the next time. Receiving a check for $203 with the gratuity included when the dinner was nothing special and luke warm, in my opinion, did not feel like a special Thanksgiving holiday meal. The quality has gone downhill.
We had a great dinner. We ate at the bar and Danna was amazing. The manager Madalia was very friendly. I would recommend to everyone
