New owners same good Beer and nice space

Very unpleasant experience.
Terrible service. The girl behind the bar was completely acting racist. From the moment we arrived, she ignored us even though we were sitting right in front of her. I watched her serve other customers without any problem, but she clearly chose to avoid us.

Out of courtesy, I waited for a while, trying not to be rude, but it became obvious the behavior was intentional. I finally stood up and left. I do not recommend this place at all. It’s sad that in 2025 there are still places where people are discriminated against and treated differently based on how they look.

Great beer and fun atmosphere!

My wife and I brought our toddler here so we could have a meal before a show. The food, which was ordered in from New York Pizza across the way, was delicious, as were the beers. I had the Why Not Wheat and my wife had the Double Branch IPA.

Alayna, who was very attentive and kind, mentioned that the place had suffered from mixed reviews in the past, but that it’s under new ownership now, with a new master brewer.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience, and we’re definitely coming again.

Dee is running a great establishment! His in house brews are excellent. The Mango Sour, and OctoberFest are absolutly fantastic! They won't break the bank either. 5 stars all day long!

This place is under new ownership and is way better than before. Great beers on tap with more on the way. Their Oktoberfest is legit! And their IPA is even better. My new chill spot and they have football on all the time!

D is the best! It's like Cheers ..go where everyone knows your name! A must for serious laid back beer seekers!

The food here was excellent, everything we ordered came out fresh and full of flavor. The highlight of the night was definitely the service at the bar. Brian was an outstanding bartender and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. You can’t beat free drinks all night!! Of course he deserves an amazing tip. Not sure if it was a promo or not but free doubles, you can’t go wrong!!

Great spot with an awesome selection of beers and a welcoming atmosphere. Love that you can order food from nearby restaurants and enjoy it here—makes the experience even better !!!

I had the opportunity to drop-in this past weekend after moving back to the area recently. I saw that it was showing 'Reopening - Under New Ownership' after I was saddened to find it closed about a month or so (with all the poor reviews under the previous ownership--obviously, the second owner prior to the original from around 2022 had let it go, and the reviews documented the gradual decline). NEEDLESS TO SAY, I was pleasantly surprised and happy to report that DBAA is BACK! I found it refreshing and welcoming, and the IPA was delicious. We even stuck around for a bit and struck up a fantastic conversation with the new owner (Dee), who is passionate about restoring DBAA's place in the community and believes in it's success with it's customers. He had us try a few sours on tap that he was also excited to premiere (a mango based, and a coconut based)--I'm not a sour guy in particular but I found them both satisfying and true to their names. The coconut in particular leaned more towards a refreshing post-lawn-mowing sipper TBH. Either way, if you remember DBAA in it's infancy, or you witnessed the decline under the second owner (which I was thankfully absent for), YOU need to come check them out again TODAY! Dee and his team certainly deserve to make an impression on you and to become an enjoyable place to grab a pint or two while you're shopping in the area--especially after spending part of your day in the giant new Target that should be finished soon! Permanently Closed. The interior is being gutted.

Usually a good time but I'm here at 530 pm on a Sunday and they are closed.

New ownership killed what momentum this nice little local brewery had. I don’t think they even have any of their own now.
