The wife and I had Cubans with just the right amount of crunch and a picadillo empanada that was out of this world! We don't live in the area but this place is worth the drive from anywhere. “If you’re craving authentic Venezuelan food in Lutz, FL, Super Tequeño is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The staff truly makes you feel like family, and the manager personally followed up after our meal to make sure everything was perfect — that level of care says it all.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic Venezuelan flavor — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of that homemade touch. The tequeños were golden, crispy, and loaded with just the right amount of cheese, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Tampa Bay. The arepas and pabellón criollo were incredible too — large portions, beautifully presented, and priced very reasonably.

Their lunch specials are unbeatable — generous servings at a great value, perfect for anyone looking for a delicious mid-day meal. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation really shows the pride they take in their cooking.

It’s rare to find a spot that combines authentic Venezuelan cuisine, large portions, excellent service, and a caring staff, but Super Tequeño delivers on all fronts.
