I often passed this place thinking it’s only macarons but so glad we came in and discovered it’s our favorite dessert/ bakery spot now! very friendly owners too
++ The ricotta pistachio cake was very light, not too sweet, and
+ the cream stuffed pastry was delicious.
+ Macarons were great too.
Will be coming back!

Amazing store featuring macarons, croissants, pastries and more. The staff makes you feel welcomed and the service is efficient and friendly.

While the store itself is visually appealing, the quality of the products is disappointing. They are NOT fresh. Unfortunately the owner; Val has been consistently DEGRADING and DISRESPECTFUL toward clients. There seems to be a constant need to assert authority, possibly stemming from her position as the business owner, which leaves little room for constructive feedback.

I would advise anyone considering a visit to READ REVIEWS of the store thoroughly beforehand, INSPECT your products carefully, and STAND your ground during any interactions. Despite Vals claim of having over 10 years of business experience, it might be time to reconsider the store’s management approach and bring in fresh leadership that prioritizes customer care and respect. There is a huge lack of accountability, don’t believe me? Take a look at the business responses to negative reviews

EDIT TO MY REVIEW/RESPONSE TO OWNERS MESSAGE (below this message is the original review):

It’s disappointing but not surprising to see this response, as I anticipated a defensive reaction rather than accountability. The fact remains: the agreed refund was not issued in full, and the “be a man” comment was indeed made—completely unprompted and irrelevant to the conversation. At no point was I rude or unreasonable; I simply voiced my concerns about the incorrect order and the lack of honesty in handling the situation.

Anyone reading this can look at how the owner responds to negative reviews—it speaks for itself. Confidence is one thing, but outright denial and deflection are another. I truly hope this business learns to value honesty and customer service. Her confidence and commitment to be this way is truly admirable. I love that for her.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I was excited to visit this macaron shop for the first time, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I placed an online order for pickup, selecting specific flavors for a gift. Upon arriving at the shop, I admired the beautifully designed space and even asked an employee if I could take a video of the display case, to which he agreed. Since the box was sealed and intended as a gift, I didn’t think to check its contents —big mistake.

At the dinner party, I discovered that two of the flavors I ordered were missing, replaced with others I hadn’t selected. While they added two extra macarons, that wasn’t the issue—I had ordered specific flavors for a reason. When I called the shop, I was transferred to the owner, Valerie, whose response made the situation worse. She claimed the missing flavors were sold out, yet my video clearly showed they were in stock. Instead of taking accountability, she insisted I should be grateful for the extra macarons and offered for me to drive back (110 miles round trip) to pick up just two replacements—an unreasonable solution. She eventually offered a partial refund, but when I received the confirmation, the amount was lower than what she had promised.

I called back—not to ask for more, but to express my disappointment in how the situation was handled. Instead of listening, Valerie became defensive and combative, going on about her 10+ years in business and how she has the best macarons in Tampa. She even told me to “be a man” and understand that she has personal issues going on—completely unprofessional.

I initially wasn’t going to write a review, but when I finally tasted the macarons, they had an unmistakable stale flavor, suggesting they had been sitting for quite some time—not freshly made as expected. Given the poor customer service, inaccurate order, and disappointing product quality, I won’t be returning.

The shop itself is beautiful, and the pastries look great, but unfortunately, my experience was tainted by dishonesty and poor service. Based on the owner’s responses to other reviews, I fully expect a defensive reply instead of accountability. I truly hope they improve, but I can’t recommend this place.

Love this place. Kinda pricey but worth it! I have traveled to Paris and Marseilles and it transported me back to all the pastries!

I adore this bakery, every time I come to wiregrass I have to come here for their macarons. It's run by a kind french couple and they make a lot of their goods in house. Literally nothing to complain about.

Dietary restrictions: The macarons are gluten free.

I bought 4 macarons to go. When I opened the package at home, I saw that one macaron was half! & In one of them there was a hair. Very disappointed. In store there were flies around and was not smelling good. Not hygenic. But people were very friendly. So I give 2-stars. I’ll look for other French patisserie unfortunately.

I bought the chocolate croissant. It has a nice flavor but my only complaint is the chocolate. The chocolate flavor was nice but hardly any chocolate was in the croissant. I wish it was filled more. Also tried the chocolate hazelnut log. The decorative chocolate pieces were good. The cake was bland and the hazelnut frosting was too sweet, grainy and lacked flavor. It needs that hazelnut flavor. Not creamy at all. Sadly these 2 pastries were not worth $20.

We arrived with my family to this beautifully decorated place, with fine details that transport you to beautiful Paris. We were served by the owner, a very polite and pleasant French gentleman. We ordered a box of 6 different flavors and we loved each one, along with the mocha lattes that were spectacular. We ordered a creme brule gelato that was delicious. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely return soon for some gifts for my friends and to taste more delicious things from their menu. It is important that the gentleman served us in Spanish, which I greatly appreciate.

I stopped in on an extremely busy night for the mall to pick out a special treat for a birthday girl. The macarons were absolutely delectable! Yes, they are a bit expensive, but compared to a good birthday cake, the price is on par and the portion is just enough to satisfy a sweet tooth without guilt.

After Thanksgiving with the fam. We wanted to take a walk and relax with our puppy that was anxiously waiting for us at home. I was hoping to find an ice cream shop with outside sitting. Every thing was closed except for this place. I'm so happy we found this place. We felt welcomed and the experience was so pleasant. The ice cream is super good and the best macarons. I totally recommend this place.
