Rhythm Pon De Grille

I had the large jerk chicken at Rythm Pon De Grille, and the food was full of flavor—really tasty and well-seasoned. However, I was disappointed that the meal didn’t come with a drink, especially for the price. The tables weren’t clean when I arrived, and the inside of the restaurant was quite hot, which made it uncomfortable to dine in. Overall, the food was great, but the dining environment needs improvement.

Got the large oxtail and rice with a beef patty everything was cooked to perfection my only issue was the oxtail had a sweet taste to it which I'm more into an umami or spiced flavor but that's just my preference. My wife loved it so I'm can't mark a lower score based on that. The only issues I seen about this place was the portion size, and I was happy with the portion we received. Unfortunately the price of oxtail has gone up so if it's not something you're aware of it may blindsided you but definitely not disappointed one bit.

For the prices charged, the food is portion controlled! Any other Caribbean restaurant or any restaurant honestly provides a great quantity of food.

Owner was super disrespectful to his workers, Cussing them on top off his voice with expletives and undescribable words..
Food was cold like it was sitting there from the day before. It was just all round terrible

Lived state side for 20 years and this is by far the most authentic food. Great customer service and wicked tunes. See you again soon.

I am Caribbean, so I love Jamaican food, USUALLY. Here, the portions are smaller than what you expect, 29.00 for a medium oxtail with cabbage only. To add insult to injury, they do not fill the already undersized plate. I ordered a side of plantains and got two single plantains. The food was warm, but the plantains were ice cold, as if they had been refrigerated and not microwaved before being served to me. If there is one thing I expect from every restaurant, it is hot food.

I will check out the other restaurants nearby; however, I won't be returning to this place. So disappointing. What a rip off!

I ordered two large oxtail dinners from Rhythm Pon De Grille and was very disappointed with the overall experience. For nearly $90, I expected hearty portions and a meal that matched the price. Instead, both dinners were extremely skimpy. Even the rice, which most restaurants usually pack in generously, was minimal. It really felt like the meals were portioned to stretch ingredients rather than satisfy customers.

The flavor of the oxtail was decent, but when you’re paying that kind of money, portion size, presentation, and overall value are just as important as taste. I truly wanted to enjoy and support this restaurant, but I left feeling shortchanged. At this price point, I expected much more substance and care in what was served.

What’s even more disappointing is that they clearly don’t care what customers say, as they never respond to reviews or make an effort to address issues. That in itself says a lot about how they value their customers’ feedback.

This Place was TRASH and a Robbery. It really hurts when I tried to go out of my way to support a business run by people who looked like me, just to get robbed and bamboozled. The medium OX Tail dinner was nothing short of a plate Full of Soggy Rice along with some gravy and 4 small bones with Very Little Meat on them.....for $25+!!
I'd never return to spend any money here.....total wasted of my resources.

I love food and drinks here! The jerk chicken and oxtail is so delicious. Its such a nice vibe here music, food and environment. I always stop by when im at the Krates. Highly recommend.

Ordered the jerk chicken meal got the order cold and no rice and peas . Only cabbage . The chicken was disgusting . Soggy and very salty .
