I gave them 1 star for service because Stake 'n Shake basically has no service since they redid their setup and took away their wait staff around the covid days. You order on a very impersonal kiosk, then someone eventually pushes a tray of food out and calls your name. You do everything else your self. Nearly zero interaction with another human while inside the restaurant. But, at least their food is really good. LoL

Every Steak 'N Shake I've been to in the past has felt like a ghost town - this location finally broke that streak. I ordered through a kiosk (because I'm pretty over-the-top with my food orders!) and my food came out right after I sat down. My burger was amazing, and my fries were alright. I used to think Steak 'n Shake was bad, but I gave them another chance because of the whole beef tallow thing. WOW! My wife and I both agreed - our burgers were delicious, the fries were legit some of the best around, and neither of us felt bad afterwards.

Steak 'n Shake is easily the best drive thru burger spot. It's on par with Five Guys. I'd honestly rather go to Steak 'n Shake. We will be going back. Big props to them for turning...
