We were unfortunately disappointed with this visit to The Living Room this time. They did tell us they had just changed their menu a couple of days ago so I understand trying to work through that. One of our biggest issues however was they removed the crab cake appetizer from the menu. This was by far our favorite dish and one of the main reasons we drive up from south of Tampa to eat here. Our meal was good but not worth the drive up. The positives were the drinks were on point as always and our server Angeline was so sweet and took amazing care of us. If we are up in the area again we will give it another try especially if they bring the crab cakes back.

Server Angelina was awesome, explained the new menu and was very attentive with whatever we needed. Only issues I had was with the steak frites. Very very chewy and hard to cut. Couldn't finish it but manager was very reassuring on making sure we still have a good experience. Also, chorizo arancini's definitely did not have any chorizo but we're still good with crispy exterior and creamy inside.

The only complaint I have is I felt the “service” was average at best. They automatically charge a 20% service charge on “any “party size. I feel that's a huge mistake. I feel like it makes the server lazy because they know they're going to make money regardless of how well they do their job. Example, when your server comes up to your table to either drop something off or talk to you and they see you are clearly finished with your dishes & glasses, they should remove them from the table! We kept piling all of the dishes and glasses as we finished to the ends of our table to make it easier (and obvious). They just kept piling up! He also brought the check before we had a chance to order dessert. We were celebrating a birthday and of course people have dessert(s) when celebrating an occasion. And the last part of the service, I was surprised that he announced to the whole table that he didn't get 100% of the service charge. Since I was the only one paying the check for the large table, he should have said that more quietly and directly to me.

Inexperienced staff and unseasoned food. There were more staff than there were patrons. Do not waste your time or money.

We had another delicious meal today!!! We ordered off the Brunch menu which was varied and so delicious looking. Angeline was our server and she was a doll. She even brought my sister our appetizer of beignets with a candle for her birthday!!! 🎉

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the eclectic decor and menu. The food is always excellent and the staff are always friendly.

My salmon on my salad was not cooked enough. Even though I had a scrape to a separate plate and didn't eat it I was not asked if there was a problem with it and didn't want to hold up our group of six since I was never asked at the entire time.

I'll start with the service. The absolute five-star of the night was our server Angeline. She was knowledgeable, attentive, engaging and an absolute delight! Ask for her section, she'll make your entire experience that much better! We were a party of 5 adults. We ordered 3 different appetizers to share - all delicious - highly recommend the 48 HOUR FOCACCIA - the whipped feta is scrumptious! Our entrees were also very good - the short ribs were a bit overdone, but the Hanger Steak with honey butter broccolini and pommes puree was definitely a do over. Desserts were indulgent and delicious, highly recommend the bread pudding! The atmosphere is great, the decor is charming and the whole place exudes a comfortable vibe. All in all a 5 star experience!

Food was good, service was subpar. Everyone was friendly, but it took forever to get drinks. I will not be going back. Also, make sure you read your receipt, which includes the gratuity already added to your bill.

Poor service and a fixed gratuity of 20% mandatory per table normally I tip 25% so I don't mind tipping but service was baddddd

Steak and chicken were very dry. Disappointed with our most recent visit. Salmon came with shaved veggies, very little

Filet Mignon: For 42 bucks I expect complete gristle free. I had 3 pieces of gristle I had to put into my napkin. Also, it was not as tender as I had hoped for. Good filet practically melts in your mouth. My friend had chicken marsala, but it was on a bone and she said, she could barely get any meat off of it. They did tell us up front that a 20% gratuity will be added to price. I think for 2 people that is ridiculous. If they need to raise prices, then do it with the price of food. People need to decide how they want to tip. Makes me not want to return for that reason alone. The mashed potatoes was very good and the dessert was excellent. The music was way-too loud. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. Need to tone that down. It was not very crowded and I could barely hear the person I was talking too. On a positive note, Josh the server was excellent. Overall it gets 2 out of 5.

I wanted to love this restaurant but didn’t. We went for Sunday brunch. Food was not hot when it came out. Our drinks sat empty. They charge 20% to the ticket for staff gratuity, I’m happy to tip well if the service seems that. This place was lacking all around.
