We were unfortunately disappointed with this visit to The Living Room this time. They did tell us they had just changed their menu a couple of days ago so I understand trying to work through that. One of our biggest issues however was they removed the crab cake appetizer from the menu. This was by far our favorite dish and one of the main reasons we drive up from south of Tampa to eat here. Our meal was good but not worth the drive up. The positives were the drinks were on point...

Server Angelina was awesome, explained the new menu and was very attentive with whatever we needed. Only issues I had was with the steak frites. Very very chewy and hard to cut. Couldn't finish it but manager was very reassuring on making sure we still have a good experience. Also, chorizo arancini's definitely did not have any chorizo but we're still good with crispy exterior and creamy inside.

The only complaint I have is I felt the “service” was average at best. They automatically charge a 20% service charge on “any “party size. I feel that's a huge mistake. I feel like it makes the server lazy because they know they're going to make money regardless of how well they do their job. Example, when your server comes up to your table to either drop something off or talk to you and they see you are clearly finished with your dishes & glasses, they should...
