Tried Umu recently and it absolutely delivered.
The Smokey Dragon roll was layered, flavorful, and perfectly balanced from the first bite to the last. The Rising Sun surprised me with how clean and bright it tasted while still bringing a satisfying kick.
Fresh fish, thoughtful combinations, and a menu that feels curated rather than crowded. Umu is the kind of spot you remember and come back to. Definitely worth a visit in Wesley Chapel.
I walked in to get lunch and was kicked out at 2:15. They didn’t offer to do take out. Very rude. It’s a shame because I would have spent some good money in here.
