Long wait to be seated even though empty tables and no waiting line Food was mediocre at best. Hollandaise sauce had a bad aftertaste, hash browns greasy and couldn't find the ham or cheese. Omelet was just ok but I think they forgot the bacon. Service was fair, however I had to ask twice for items had ordered. Restaurant was at about 75 percent capacity but metal ceiling made for a very loud environment, nearly impossible to talk. I will not be going back

This place is killer. Waffles, cinnamon French toast, city grits with bacon, and the new Mardi Gras omelet... all awesome. And the biscuits! More please. And great service on top of it all.

We just got off a 7 day cruise in Miami and drove to Melbourne to have Shrimp and Grits at Squid Lips. Sadly it’s no longer on the menu. Being from WI I don’t find Shrimp and Grits very often so needless to say I was bummed. So we got on the Google and searched for Shrimp and Grits. Our search lead us here to the Broken Egg Cafe. Hands down the best meal we have had in the last 10 days. Truly amazing and our server Nicole was top notch. This is a must stop, must try, but more importantly a must come back.

The food was excellent but our waitress made multiple mistakes forgot about us a few times and actually dump the pot of hot coffee almost onto my parents. It's a hard place to have a conversation and it is very loud in there when it's busy.

This place is kind of pricey. Two of us with pancakes, eggs, sausage, and two spiked coffees spent 50 bucks. I had the Bourbon Street Pancakes which has bananas, pecans, and a rum butter drizzle. I was pleasantly surprised that they put toppings between the pancakes. The pancakes were good, the eggs had zero flavor, and the apple maple sausage needed more spice. He got Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese pancakes he really liked them. I had the Vanilla Cold Brew iced and he had the Caramel Cold Brew hot. Both of our drinks were strong, almost too strong to finish.

Excellent~! Busy, but seating and serving was prompt. Coffee ~ AAA+ ~ the BEST I've had locally (we had the house blend). It was hot, strong without being bitter; very nice, rich flavor~! Our waitress (Shanna M. ) was on-point ~ wish I could give her 10+ stars~! The Mardi Gras omelet was stuffed with shrimp and crawfish that were cooked perfectly. The lemon-blueberry goat cheese pancakes were fluffy, tender - sweet blueberry fruitiness with a nice lemony tang. Generous servings - both delicious~! The vibe is modern, clean 4 stars only because the building is echo-y. They could use some sound mitigation. We will definitely be back~!!

First timer and I thought it was pretty good. The price may be a little on the high side for breakfast. I had a carnivore omelette, grits, english muffin and a cup of medicine roast coffee. No complaints. The meal was good and so was the service.

One of the best breakfast/brunch places I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. Food is delicious, all homemade and not filled with buckets of grease. You don't feel weighed down all day after eating like some heavier breakfast places. Mike the GM was very friendly and Shanna our server gave me faith again that excellent service does still exist. Lovely to find a place that not only cares about quality of food but the guest experience as well.I found my spot, thanks Broken Egg Cafe!
