Got the half chicken platter with mash potato’s and gravy and Mac n cheese chicken was so burnt and so dry I couldn’t even get any off hard as rock the Mac n cheese was so burnt all u could taste was terrible burnt taste . Don’t think I’ll go back sadly

I always do takeout whenever I come here, the foods awesome, I love the grilled chicken and the cheesy yuca, that sweet plantains remind me of my moms cooking. I’ve never been fond of rice or beans so I usually don’t eat them. Today I went through the drive through as always, to better explain myself and help you understand, this was my order, two 1/4 chicken with rice and beans and two indv French fries to accompany them with a lemonade, another 1/4 chicken but instead of rice and beans, French fries and cheesy yuca balls as the side, I know these two items are bound to come with up charges and I don’t mind, a coke and a Fanta. When I tried to make sure the person taking my order understood and got it right, she caught an attitude and cut me off saying “yes ok” I said ok, I always check my food before leaving because I understand people can make mistakes. Everything was right until I noticed one plate had rice no beans, I assumed it was one of the plates I had ordered that came with that and told them I was missing my beans until I realized no plate came with French fries so they instead of giving me French fries gave me rice, I told her oh I’m sorry I was actually missing the French fries, you guys gave me rice instead. This older white lady chimed in, assuming it was manager and had a terrible attitude as well and said “I always do this when I come here” and mind you, I don’t go often regardless of how much like the food and when I do go they usually get my order right. Long story short I got my French fries and also unnecessary attitude because one of her workers was too impatient, and incompetent to make sure she got everything right. Big drama for no reason. It’s too early in the morning and I didn’t feel like arguing so I just left.

I only received one item I ordered then I went back to get the rest of my food and they messed up and didn’t get me everything I ordered the second time so I will not be returning this was the worst service ever. I get maybe forgetting one item but forgetting everything except corn is completely insane they forgot my whole meal and I only literally received corn and they didn’t even put my food in a box they put it in a small bowl so disappointed .👎🏻

Nice place for a quick bite when in a hurry, the black beans were missing flavor, good texture but no seasoning. The fried yuca was super dry and no mojo to accompany it so it will feel super dry. The fried plantains and chicken were great, the restaurant was very clean and inviting and our order taker Tania was really good.

I have always been a fan of pollo tropical BUT Ethan made our night and I think his management will definitely help that location grow in numbers! It is clear that he is invested in the company vision and does put that emphasis on customer service still which is getting harder to find. Great job Ethan!
