Umami Restaurant and Sushi Bar

New to the area, wanted something light so decided to order takeout. Im very picky on sushi restaurants, I've had mediocre to poor to great and this place is fantastic. The 4 items i got were delicious. I got the gyoza, spicy tuna crunchy rice, Heisenburg roll, and seaweed salad. All were fantastic. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu

This is a great place. I went as a sushi first timer and the atmosphere was great. The server was happy to recommend rolls for beginners. The prices seemed reasonable. I would go again.

They need a curtain by the front door, every time the door opens you get blinded. Small open place, food was good, service was good, Hostess was super nice. We had the chicken Katsu bento boxes. Real Katsu sauce! ? Little chicken pieces, but plenty.

This is the best bento box so that I have had. Food is always fresh, delicious, and they provide large portions. I don’t think you can get a better meal to the money. They have a lunch special before 2 PM.

There are great Japanese restaurants and then there’s Umami.
Food is delicious and staff are friendly.
When you walk through the door and into the restaurant is like being transported into another dimension.
The Godfather roll is 100% worth it.

They have recently opened a new location in Indian Harbor Beach Eau Gallie Blvd. and to say their soft opening was fantastic would be an understatement! Besides some extremely delicious rolls, The staff was beyond accommodating for everything I asked for. Looking forward to having this restaurant so close to home.

my wife and i stopped by just to check out their sushi and were very pleasantly surprised. it isn't cheap but it was definitely good and we'll certainly come back again.

Out shopping an hour from home and decided on Sushi for dinner. This restaurant had a good rating and very good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Plenty of parking and you could smell the cooked food from the parking lot - and it was good!!
Arrived at about 6:30pm. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Atmosphere was nice, sushi came out timely and was very good. We split the chef's sushi plate and the chef's sushimi plate. Delicious!! Very fresh! Tastes and textures that were unique and good. We really liked it!!

One of my favorite restaurants! I visit this restaurant at least once a month, if not more often, and their sushi is the best ever! The servers are very knowledgeable and service is spot on!

While the sushi rolls were great, the appetizer, Korean ribs, is not recommended. They were chewey an gristley. Server never came back until serving rolls and was informed they were not cooked properly. Said she would tell chef. Expected more from a restaurant I'd heard so much about. No offer for credit and no offer to make it right.
