I wanted to share some feedback about my recent dining experience at Cafe Med, which I visited based on a friend's recommendation.
First, let me say that the atmosphere was delightful. We chose to sit in the garden, and it was truly lovely. The ambiance was serene and made for a pleasant setting. Additionally, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout our meal.

However, I must express my disappointment with the food. I was looking forward to a nice dinner, but unfortunately, the flavors were lacking, and the overall experience was average. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari Fritti and buffalo mozzarella caprese. The calamari needed a lot more seasoning, and the caprese was quite bland.

For the second course, we opted for the Bianca pizza, which was fine but nothing exceptional. For dinner, I ordered the lemon risotto and ravioli. The lemon risotto was very watery, and the ravioli was just okay. Overall, it was a rather disappointing dining experience.

We had a lovely, intimate dinner this evening. We snagged seats at the bar as we came without reservations (do not recommend). This gave us first row seats watching the staff. The food was delicious, but the service was seamless. Professional, kind, and each team member was consistently checking in with one another and no one was idle throughout our entire dining experience. Not only were they constantly asking each other what they could do to help, but we heard multiple times team members encouraging each other. The experience beginning with the valet was wonderful. We will be back often.

What a neighborhood gem! Service was exceptional and food was on point. The mussels were so delicious we couldn’t stop dipping into the savory broth. We can’t wait to go back.

I don't usually leave reviews but I must say this place deserves a 5 star rating. We went there for my graduation and it was just amazing. The food was so delicious and wholesome but most importantly, the people, the service, it was unlike no other. The owners were wonderful and you can tell they really care about their customers. Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Our first time visiting, and it was fantastic! Not only the food, but the service was exceptional… Manny and Gabe were extremely attentive and made our visit. superb! We’ll be back!

Rogalio was our server, and he was absolutely amazing. Kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient (I went with someone who has a hard time hearing, and he repeated himself and spoke louder for her).
Luis Antonio was the guy who made the best balsamic vinegar I’ve ever had. Like. Wow. 10/10.
The food was delicious, the wine was yummy, and the dessert was great! We will for sure be back soon!

Parking: $5 valet, or street parking available

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a back entrance out to the patio that’s big enough for a wheelchair or walker. Going through the restaurant was a bit tricky, but the staff helped very quickly to make it work with a walker.

The food wasn’t as high quality as the clientele. The atmosphere is very pompous. The chicken was not cooked properly. There’s better places, so pass. It was priced too high for the quality of food, service and atmosphere.
