Was looking for a cool local spot for dinner while visiting WPB this past week. Based on reviews- and after checking out the menu - I decided to check out Cholo Soy. They best decision I made in the course of the vacation, by far.
The restaurant is small - minimal seating inside - but the covered outdoor area is spacious and the vibe is awesome. Great music playing and the decor is very fun.
The staff was incredibly helpful - plenty of recommendations and answering questions about the menu. Service was fast and very attentive.
The food was outstanding!! I could not decide between the tacos I wanted - so I ordered all 4 - fish taco, chorizo & octopus, pulled pork, and pork belly. Each one was full of flavor- obviously very thought out menu items. The pork belly is probably the best taco I've ever had. It's the perfect blend of salt, fat, acid, and heat. I could've had 10 more, but I tried to behave.
Kids menu was great - ordered for my little one and it was a very generous portion.
Returned again the next night for their Taco Tuesday and tried their brisket taco, which was great. Made sure I had another pork belly.
Shoutout to Jazz! She was an incredible host and waitress who made us feel at home with fun conversation. She also gave us a list of local spots to hit during our trip which all turned out to be phenomenal. Thank you for a great experience at Cholo Soy!

Over rated and over priced. Fish tacos were soggy. Only good thing they have are the spicy chicken tacos but even the. Not worth $6.50 a taco when you can get better elsewhere

Almost hidden right in from you on Dixie, this taco spot is a gem. Small, with a mom and pop feel, but trendy with a Mexican vibe. The food here was fresh, filling. We started with the chorizo queso dip, it came out rather quickly and was seasoned well, the chorizo meat was chunky, flavored and delicious. Served with home made tortilla chips. We ordered two shrimp bits tacos, two steak tacos, 1 chicken taco and 1 octopus and chorizo taco. Each taco was filled to the brime with what you can taste as quality ingredients. If you are a pickled onion person (which we are) this will be your spot. The only thing I could say, is i wish everything was hotter. Everything was just warm. BUT, I'm super picky on that way, and that will not stop me from coming back time and time again. Three seating inside is small, but they have a sizeable back yard with a bar. I had a margarita that was made just right.

I like the fact that they had a vegan taco choice available. But to get a full meal I ordered chips and salsa, fried yucca and then only one taco and it was almost $30. Will not be back. Food was fair at best

Very cool taco spot! Friendly staff, awesome street food style menu that is very reasonably priced. We got the basket nachos, a chorizo taco and corn salad. It is counter service with a few small tables inside but we opted to sit outside on the porch. Tropical atmosphere with colorful murals and tables. Also has a bar with a DJ on the weekends.

Visiting West Palm Beach. Stopped in for lunch….recommendation from a local. Great place. Workers greeted us with a smile and very interactive with all the customers. The nachos were delicious. Tacos were loaded with meat and very tasty. Everything was fresh and made to order. Only a few tables inside but does have a larger outside patio. Would highly recommend.

This is a very cool place and my favorite in the area. There's colorful fun outside seating in the back and a couple of tables indoors. They have really great specials. We always enjoy there brisket nachos, enchiladas and whatever taco of the day. They also carry ginger aid which is a great digestive drink to have with a meal and not found everywhere. They have beers, house margarita and other drinks. The staff are very warm and welcoming.

We went about 30 minutes before closing and just ordered some basic tacos, they were really good. The place was clean, and I definitely want to go back. I think we purposely tried to order something simple because it was 30 minutes to closing. They have a cute little back courtyard area and the vibe is definitely something other than the typical South Florida scene, which I appreciate appreciate.
