The waitress didn't speak English very well and was hard to understand. The place was very busy and we had a reservation. The food wasn't cooked as ordered. My wife's steak was undercooked and came out cold. My burger was undercooked and salty. Everything was crazy salty.
Went for brunch/lunch. Burnt toast (we saw the waiter scraping, flipped it and served) Draft beer not available anymore (beer taps visible from my seat) Oh, and took FOREVER to serve our food with the restaurant maybe 1/8th full. Been going here for 20 years. Never again.
Really nice service, great wine list and cocktails. Entrees were “solid” nothing spectacular. Dessert was quite nice. Would dine there again but its nothing we would go out of our way to schedule. Great place for cocktails and sitting at the bar.
We had a nice, attentive waiter, Nick. Other aspects of the evening were not as positive. We ordered Caesar Salad and it was very disappointing, not really a Caesar as there were not anchovies nor could we get any on request. The salad also needed lemon juice and was too bland. The entree came when we were only half way through the salad. We had to ask for extra things as we were sharing and needed another pasta bowl and serving spoons. I think when you tell the waiter you are sharing they would have the kitchen divide the entree in the kitchen.
We dine at Open Table a lot after attending shows at Kravis. Always a fun experience as we request outside. Food always good. Our waiter, I think his name is Ranaldo or similar, was excellent!!!!
Very good brunch -breakfast pizza and grilled shrimp Benedict. Delicious espresso martini s
Anthony, our waiter, was great. He was very accommodating and responsive to any requests we made. Food is always good and ambience is fun.
I have eaten here many times over the years, especially before shows at Kravis, and have noticed a decline in the quality of the food on our last few visits. Our meal last night was very disappointing. The restaurant was not busy, and our server knew we were going to a show. My partner and I purposely ordered salads with chicken to expedite the order, and it still took 30-35 minutes to receive our food (we had not ordered appetizers, only the salads). The chicken on the salad was truly awful. It tasted like commercially frozen cooked chicken breasts that had been thrown on a grill to warm. This is not a cheap restaurant, and for a $25 salad, I expect fresh chicken. They were also out of diet soda. How can a restaurant with a huge bar run out of diet soda? Unfortunately, this is now just another overpriced restaurant with mediocre food.
One of our guests ordered the pork chop which was filled with fat. They did remedy this by getting him another meal. Husband's steak had a lot of gristle.
Dinner and atmosphere were outstanding. Nick went above and beyond with service. Thank you Nick!!

We were at the City Cellar, for our birthday. And Shelby made our evening ultra special!! She was so kind, and sweet that gave us our dessert on the house. Keep people like her in the team, the experience will always be special 💗✨
