City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill

It was really warm in the restaurant and the service was okay. It seemed pretty busy & possibly short staffed. They were out of a couple things we asked for as well. Overall good quality food and nice restaurant, but we have had better experiences here in the past.

Food is excellent, service is excellent - only shortfall is it is uncomfortably warm in the restaurant. You don't want to be sweating throughout a nice dinner. It was like this last time I was here so it wasn't a fluke.

Our server was absolutely lovely! The food was amazing all around, we got the crab Mac and cheese, artichoke dip and crab cake for appetizers. Some notable entrees were the salmon and the chicken schnitzel. The only issue is that the temperature of the restaurant itself was less than ideal. They have a very open kitchen which is great and adds to the ambience, however living in Florida my whole life it was even too hot in there for me! I would recommend keeping your outfit light if you choose to go

I enjoyed dining at City Cellar. Excellent smoked old fashioned. Delicious pizza and decadent carrot cake. A must try if you're in West Palm Beach..

Hands down our favorite place for Date Night. We don't get out often but always find ourselves back to something familiar. We have been to City Cellar prob a dozen times and last nights dinner was my all time favorite meal I've eaten here. I had the Kale salad (which I get every time) and the Bourbon Street Skirt Steak. My husband loved his Crab Cake and Lobster Buccatini . We are excited to enjoy our leftovers for lunch today. We opted to skip dessert as Toasted Marshmallow Gelato was not in the menu. We did however get a taste test from our wonderful (so friendly and a pleasure to have had her section) server Rebecca. I tried the Strawberry Basil Sorbetto and he tried the PB and J gelato. Absolutely Delicious! I recommend this place to anyone who comes to visit or says they don't know where to go for dinner. Great staff, clean establishment, and Delicious Food for a reasonable price! Can't wait to go back!

City Cellar is a stellar restaurant, food is carefully curated and absolutely delicious. My review is mixed on a few weird things this time. The restaurant did not have air conditioning that was cool enough, and my entire party (with dressed-up clothing) was sweating. This was uncomfortable as we were entertaining our guests. Our waitress was unattentive, and when the food runners brought the food, several things were missing that were ordered, and she was nowhere to be found for over 10 minutes, and not even in the area serving others. Applause to the other servers as when asked to get our server, the young lady asked How can I help you in any way. I love when you see teamwork, rather than okay, I'll get them. We ordered a fresh pasta dish, Bolognese, delish, 2 pork chops, and a wedge salad with extra shrimp and a chicken breast, but they never brought the chicken. House wine was great, and the sparkling Sangria was one of the best I have tasted in a long time. It was a great evening, but just a few things that were uncomfortable, with no air circulating, and 2 meals had missing items and were not cooked the way it was ordered.

Ask for Camillo. He's warm, kind, funny and very knowledgeable on the entire menu. The place is great. The food, outstanding. The prices, on it high side, but worth it.

2 Pasta dishes - fantastic! 1 Ribeye (medium well) - very good, (personally should have had sauce on side). Drinks were quite tasty and not to strong, not to weak. Service was friendly and good, just stretched a little thin. Yes, we will return!

First time visit referred by a regular patron when I asked about lunch for salads and sandwiches. Hostess and waitress was excellent, seated promptly in a quiet area as requested . My visitors loved the bottomless mimosas and they appreciated the quick refills. We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and my guest did not complain. The other two were Asian chicken salads - mine blackened and although my guest ordered just grilled she got the blackened but did not mind. The salad portions were excellent. I would have preferred my chicken cut up rather than one piece and it was a bit too spicy for my taste. Different wontons than other restaurants - verdict still out on that. Overall, would love to go back to try other dishes.

Early dinner on a Friday, not too crowded especially outside. We had our dog as usual and the restaurant always brings him a bowl of ice water. If you like hummus, theirs is delicious and tastes absolutely homemade. It's more than enough for 2 people as an appetizer which is enjoyable outside in the heat. Of course I enjoyed the Asian crunch salad, especially when topped with seared tuna. The burger and fries were also delicious. The kale salad was a nice surprise though, generous and tasty, I highly recommend this. The sweet cranberries and crunchy hazelnuts added such nice texture. Our drinks were perfect and Anthony provided excellent service (the service is always better off-season when the restaurant isn't too crowded). Thank you for making our night out so memorable.

My recent visit to City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch. We started with the tableside steak tartare, which was expertly prepared and incredibly fresh. It's always a treat to see a dish made right in front of you, and City Cellar certainly delivered on both the presentation and the flavor. Next up was the pan-seared yellowfin tuna, cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear came with forbidden rice. To round out our meal, we also ordered the cheese board, offering a well-curated selection that was both delicious and satisfying. Beyond the fantastic food, the service truly stood out. Our server was attentive and polite, striking the perfect balance of being available without being intrusive. We also appreciated that the food arrived promptly; there was not a long wait between courses, which kept the evening flowing smoothly. Overall, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill offers a delicious menu, efficient service, and a great atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. I'd highly recommend it!

We had the veal meatballs and the angel hair with 5 huge shrimp perfectly cooked. Our waitress was just so so, which was not our experience the last time we were there, just asked the absolutely necessary questions, could probably use some encouragement and training.

Excellent as always. Food and service is always on point. Camilo was great. One of my favorite spots in West Palm.

The food was outstanding. We had branzone and chicken schnitzel. The cocktails were very tasty as well. Their menu is extremely good. At least five entrees I would've ordered. We went on a Saturday before a show at the Kravis and the place was packed. Good thing we had reservations. Nice atmosphere as well.

Pleasantly surprised as first time diner here... lobster pasta dish was delicious... had it as a shared app along with Brussel sprouts and crispy calamari. All good. Had salmon and Branzino for mains... very good. Dessert.. crème brûlée was delish. Waiter was attentive and so was manager who seemed to be on top of everything. Very nice dinner all around.
