Cucina Pizza by Design

Recipe definitely has changed with new ownership. Was disappointed with my pizza today. Cheese seems different and toppings could've been cooked a little more.

Stopped by to celebrate and ordered a large City Pizza. The pizza was delicious with a solid undercarrige. Had the fried calamari as an appetizer, they were lightly breaded but tasty. Ended the meal with an order of Cheesecake, firm and delicious.

City Pizza - PBL - 1855 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd B 09 Was a great experience! I have wanted a quality pizza with VEGAN CHEESE since returning to Palm Beach County. The pizza was amazing and I can’t wait to try the other menu items. I felt welcomed and appreciated.

I have visited this place in the past and have never experienced such terrible service.
Seems like things have changed over the last year or so. Kian was who attended to me today. I asked for an Alfredo pizza. My advice is that if you don’t know how to make it- say that. They gave me a dry behind pizza and when I asked for something to make it more most, Kian charge me damn near $5 for a sauce that still didn’t make the pizza any better. This is after he was tipped. The changes that this place has made are ruining the whole business, I never experienced such horrible service. Than looking at me like something is wrong with me! 🤣 But you can’t make pizza!

My wife and I work right around the corner from this place. And she’s been here a few times always raving about the pizza. With that said, I stay away from pizza due to a severe diary allergy. Yes! I know they make and have vegan cheese. But for some reason, my orders are always get messed up. We went ahead and ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and just like another reviewer stated. The order was messed up and made with real cheese. The waiter did have another pizza made but the damage is done. A Sunday ruined sitting on my throne. Barely made it home to Wellington. Never will I be back.

I’ve been coming to this pizza parlor for a while, especially since my daughter absolutely loves their pizza. However, since the new management took over, the customer service has been terrible.

Every time I walk in, I feel completely ignored unless I go out of my way to get someone’s attention. Today was no different. I placed my order, expecting to be seated by a waiter—but that didn’t happen. Instead, I had to seat myself and even told the cashier where I’d be waiting. If it's self seating, no one follow ups, or explains anything.

As I sat there, I watched other customers receive prompt service, from being seated to being checked on regularly. Meanwhile, my daughter and I were completely overlooked. She kept asking why our pizza was taking so long, while employees stood around chatting and laughing.

After 25 minutes of being ignored, I finally went up to the front desk to ask about our order. The cashier looked at me like I was bothering her, then walked over to the waiting area, grabbed our pizza, and handed it to me—without a single apology or explanation. It was clear that my order had just been sitting there, forgotten.

At this point, I couldn’t ignore the pattern anymore: if you’re not of a certain background, you simply don’t get recognized here. I’ve given this place multiple chances for the sake of my daughter, but today I had to tell her this would be our last time eating here.

I called tonight at 8:58 to order dinner. A man answered the phone very rudely saying hello and that’s it. I asked if it was cucinas he yells we are closed and hangs up. I checked the website again for closing and it says open daily until 10pm. So I call back thinking maybe something was wrong and the man answers and hung up on me immediately.

Today I went here to this pizza place and I ordered two slices to go. I should’ve checked them before I left. They were dried out and not fresh as As if they were laying there all day. This is the second time I’ve been there. I ordered a fresh pie and when I got it home, there’s very little cheese on it.

Got the food delivered. Yet another place with incompetent employees that probably do not care or take any accountability. One meatball slider!!! I got ripped off.

Walking in, you get to choose your own seat, which gives the place a relaxed and welcoming vibe.

Our waiter was fantastic—super kind and attentive, even while juggling bartending duties. Big kudos to him for keeping everything running smoothly!

The Caesar salad was a winner—fresh, crisp, and flavorful. A solid start to the meal.

Unfortunately, the chicken tenders and fries were a letdown—hard, bland, and missing that satisfying crunch or seasoning. Definitely not the highlight.

The chicken Alfredo was decent but needed a little help. After adding Parmesan and salt, it hit the spot, though next time, I’d probably skip the chicken.

Now, the Stromboli? That was a showstopper! It smelled absolutely amazing, and my husband gave it two thumbs up.

I’d definitely come back to try their pizza—it seems like it might just be their specialty!

The pizza pie is very good. We were so disappointed to find that they now use a packaged dressing for the salads.
Also the dining tables were very dirty as well as the floor and the restaurant in general looks very deteriorated.
