This was our first time at Darbster and we were very excited to try it. We were not disappointed! The 4 of us each had something different and shared them. The chocolate truffles were an excellent dessert. Our waitress, April was amazing. She answered all of our questions and was spot on with her descriptions. We will be going back. I’m not a vegetarian but it was nice to be able to order anything on the menu and not wonder “What’s actually in this meal?”

My first experience the service took over two hours for a two course meal. Second time they gave my delivery order to someone else, suggested I come pick up a new order, then called back to say they ran out of the cake I had ordered. Just really terrible service overall.

Darbster is an excellent vegan restaurant that serves delicious food, including gluten-free options and a kids' menu. The restaurant offers a great ambiance, wonderful service, and live music on some nights, making it a lively spot to enjoy a meal. Dishes, like the Chick’n with hot sauce and blu cheese, are made to order from scratch, showcasing an artisanal character that enhances the dining experience. The talented chefs frequently surprise diners with seasonal specials, encouraging them to explore beyond the main menu. As a non-profit, Darbster supports animal rescue, and its peaceful and charming view adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is also pet-friendly, welcoming furry companions to join their owners. Happy hour is every day from 5-7, featuring wine and 25% off appetizers. The wine list is good and reasonably priced. Although it's a small place with occasional minor issues, the great food, like the flavorful Broccolini appetizer and the spicy potatoes, along with good vibes make it well worth a visit.
