I was really excited to come here for the first time. They have a sweet little outdoor area with a water fountain. They offered a number of specials, but was out on the one that I wanted, the turkey roulade.I ended up with a roasted pumpkin apple bisque, a fall salad and a palm cake followed by the brunch chicken sandwich. My only suggestion is to leave off the onions on the fall salad because there were too many and it interferes with the delicate flavors of the other ingredients....
We've been eating here for over 7 years. I'm not sure what's going on, but the quality has dropped off drastically the past year. The NY Pasta used to be incredible, now it tastes barely seasoned. And that is really the theme to my complaints. Not just smaller portions than they used to give, but the food just isn't seasoned properly. I would've never said that 3 years ago. So obviously, this is a twist on the original ie, no ham or eggs, but the inclusive of tomato was different and worked pretty well. I’d give my eye teeth for someone to create a mock-poached egg, but the scramble did fine, the tempeh ‘bacon’ was really tasty and just the right amount of crunch, and the potatoes we’re deliciously spicy, at times overpowering the hollandaise, which should probably be the star of the dish.
The service was great and they have a good wine list....
