Don Ramon Cuban Cuisine WPB

This was hands down the most authentic Cuban food I’ve had since moving from Miami—and that’s saying a lot. I ordered the picadillo with white rice and black beans, and from the first bite, I was taken right back home. The flavors were rich, comforting, and exactly what Cuban food should be.

What really stood out was how the aroma filled the office. Everyone kept asking, “What is that amazing smell?” They were surprised to hear that there’s Cuban food this good right in the area—many didn’t even know it existed. Needless to say, I’ll be spreading the word.

In fact, several of my coworkers are already planning to come back with me. When food sparks that kind of conversation and excitement, you know you’ve found a gem. I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu—and maybe introducing a few more folks to their new favorite lunch spot.

Service extremely polite and assertive

My all-time favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming here my whole life and have never had a bad meal — not once. Everything is consistently excellent, and the care shows in every dish. My grandmother, who lived in Cuba for many years, loved eating here, and it’s been a family favorite ever since. I’ve been to their other locations, but this one on Military is the one I keep coming back to. It’s the best. Period. Please visit and give this amazing place the love it deserves.

Time I went I order a Cuban sandwich and I feel rip off pay 12$ no pork on the sandwich have no pork and the bread was so tiny if you don’t have pork please just say so! Tiny pieces!!!!

Food was very good. Prices were fair. Service was good, if a little rushed. Nice atmosphere. Definitely would go back. Great place for family dinner.

Excellent! My husband ate red tail and I ate old clothes. The two dishes accompanied with rice, black and sweet beans, everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. A true Cuban flavor! Our waitress Yajaira was exceptional, in general all the staff were very attentive and friendly. 100% recommended.

THe service here is amazing and the people that work here i love like family. But my recent visit was beyond disappointing. You can tell the cook or the vendors of the food has completely changed. the environment has been recently renovated but still has the soul of Don Ramon until you hear the music playing. 80s Rock and pop was the selection that night and somewhere i considered a place like home now felt like some crappy bar. I was very upset with this visit and will probably taking my visits to the wellington location in the hopes that this is just a crappy new owner or cook. How dare you invade my home and ruin such a beautiful place. Please wise up and fix this.
