Donte’s is always a reliable spot whenever I’m craving a traditional breakfast at a great price. The service is generally fast, and they offer a wide variety of options to choose from.
I always order the Cobb salad to go for lunch because the portion is very generous and satisfying.
It’s a classic West Palm diner, but with better and more diverse menu options. Always a solid choice

I have been going to this place on and off for nearly 30 years. Used to live nearby and in the past few years, I have been 1-2 times a month as it is near some family real estate I need to check on periodically during lunch. Honestly, I’m frustrated with the overall experience and now will find other places to go in that area. The service is just really poor and inattentive. Wait times are long at times and seems like attention from a server (I sit at the counter) correlates to the level you are willing to schmooze with the server. The lunch food is somewhere between OK and mediocre (except burgers which are great). If you are into diner food and are not there during the work day, fine I guess. But for me the nostalgia has worn off.

Breakfast specials include coffee, two eggs any style, home fries or hash browns for only $7.99. that was the price at the beginning of 2026 in January. Reasonable and nearly a great deal in today's economy. I don't remember if that included toast with butter and jelly and I'm not sure about the substitution policy. There's a $2 up charge for sausage and or oatmeal and you have options.

I remember having the breakfast special and added these jumbo fat flavorful sausage links and also added the oatmeal which came with raisins and brown sugar and I think it may have had apple in it as well. Delicious!
However, due to the economy the way it is, you could end up spending 15 to $20 if you consider the add-ons, gratuity and tax. If you can afford to go 5 days a week you may end up spending $100 a week just for breakfast dining out. 🤷

A very attentive staff that cares about customer satisfaction. Overall cleanliness was quite good as well. My first experience here could have been better with the food but the staff made up for it and I will return to try some other dishes.
What a superb breakfast! Our server, Jennifer was quick and a pleasure to have serve us! Our food came out piping hot and everything was spectacular! I look forward to turning this into my favorite local diner!
