Everything here is so good! We had the birria tacos, fish tacos, brisket burrito, chips with salsa and guacamole as well as the churros and honestly some of the best food I’ve had! If you ever get a chance don’t miss this stop!

Cadillac burner seemingly had a cheap bun and wasn’t spicy like I was told but it was still decent. Salsa was bland. Food was still decent. I probably should have ordered tacos. I’ll return to try those because the atmosphere was great!

Perfect vibes for a chill date night, and the pimento cheese elote dip alone is worth the trip (dangerous, could eat this every day).

Not what I expected. I paid $20 for three tacos and juice to dip them in. No rice and beans or even chips and salsa to go with them. The tacos were good, but I was disappointed.

This was my first experience at El Segundo. The hostess Gabby was warm, friendly and efficient. She politely informed us that there was a 30 minute wait but that she would work on getting tables cleaned up so she could seat us as quickly as possible. She came back after a few minutes to let us know that she was working on getting our wait time down and wanted to make sure we were comfortably seated during our wait. She got the wait time down to 17 minutes and she came to seat us and took our drink order right away and asked if we would like to put and order in since we had to wait. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. We had the burned tips taco 🌮 and the mole wings to start. We then tried all the tacos and I had a Mexican coca cola and my husband had a Margherita. While we were dining, we were told since it was taco Tuesday, the tacos were $3 and the Margheritas were $5 the bartender made the drink from scratch and my husband was given the option of salt, sugar or tajin on the rim. We were blown away and understand why there was a line out the door. The atmosphere was very hip and there all ages and demographics in the room. It's a dog friendly restaurant. It reminded me of a hip Texas roadhouse. Art on the walls, subdued light and a big screen TV over the bar. There's an outdoor area and even though it was packed, it didn't feel claustrophobic. Our favorite taco is the el big Mac. A smashed beef patty with cheese served on top of a flattened sesame seed bun. Sadly, we ate more than we thought and had no space for dessert so we didn't try the churro or the tree leches so I guess we will have to go back!

The brisket on tacos and quesadillas was really tasty. My margarita was very good and a happy hour price of $5. Connor was very friendly and extremely helpful.

So yeah…El Segundo. Big fan. Would go again. And definitely will go again. Probably tell people I discovered it first as well. The brisket quesadilla…outstanding. Compliments to the chef. The owner is a personal friend of mine, so makes the dining experience casual and not overbearing. Family friendly and welcoming. Bring your dog along - they don’t mind, they’re good people. Enjoy a margarita or 2. I’m a regular here. Great spot, nice work guys. Solid food. Solid guys. 10/10

I liked the ambiance of this place, it’s near bunch of art studios. However, the food is extremely OVERPRICED $6-$7, FOR ONE PIECE OF TACO. Mini size tacos should be $3 or $3.50. They are same size as tacos at Bar taco. If 2 people had 3 tacos each, you end up spending $45 for 6 tacos, that’s way overpriced. Overall, the tacos did taste good but not worth $7 each.

We really wanted to like El Segundo and gave it a fair shot. Our total came to about $250 with a 25% tip, and unfortunately the experience didn’t come close to justifying it.

We were overcharged for four drinks we never received. At multiple points we tried to order additional drinks, but no one ever came back to the table. Service was slow throughout, and by the time the check finally arrived, I didn’t even have the energy to wait longer to dispute the drink charges.

What was most concerning was the lack of basic sanitation. Staff were eating in between serving tables and making drinks, without washing their hands. Literally chewing as they were making drinks. It was off-putting and honestly unacceptable. My wife and I were up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach pains.

As for the food—we ordered nearly every taco on the menu, really trying to experience it fully—and every single taco came out cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. For all of us. That made them pretty inedible. The only bright spot was the chips, which were fine, but that’s about it.

Overall, the food was terrible, the service was slow and inattentive, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We truly gave this place a chance, but it was not a good experience and not one we’d repeat.

Our local hang out spot. Super chill and great tacos. Can't beat the friendly staff and the margs are a bonus. The tulum bowl is our favorite.
